Pub Quiz & Curry come to FolkEast Campsite:For those arriving at FolkEast to set up camp on Thursday there will be a Curry &Pub Quiz by the wonderful chef David from The Froize. He will be cooking up 3curries (including a veggie option) PLUS a pub quiz all for the ridiculous priceof £5.00 per head! There will be 3 curries, Chicken, Vegetarian and a specialGlemham Hall Curry (Venison!) Tickets are limited so please reserve in advanceand email us here and pay on the night.Beer tent opens 6.00pmQuiz starts 7.15pm Break at 8.00pm for CurryCurry served with basmati rice on a palm leaf (recyclable) plate with wooden(biodegradable!) cutlery.Accompanied by a veritable feast of pickles, chutneys and accompaniments.Quiz resumes 8.30pm so you can eat whilst quizzing....Ends 9.15pm approx.

PAX 4 Project - Perform on stage with us!
The idea behind this little scheme is to get you learning some tunes to take part intheir gig performing on The Sunset Stage at FolkEast. Any instrument is okay(apart from percussion - as it makes things a little tricky - sorry!)Pax 4 Project will run 2 workshops on Saturday & Sunday to learn the tunes &basic arrangement. Come & talk to Paddy from Pax 4 about the project on Fridayafternoon 12.30pm in the session area. All the tunes below are in groups of 2 setup in dance types (except the last one). Music will besupplied on the day, together with the arrangement sheet, although most of themcan be learnt by ear (particularly if you bring something to record them on).To give you a head start if you want to get involved, the music is being supplied inadvance via the FolkEast website. All you have to do is turn up at the workshopswith an instrument and a certain amount of emotional buoyancy!
Tim Higham's Documentary about FolkEastTim Higham has his work cut out and is busy following the lead up to FolkEast andwill be filming during the weekend. He is making a documentary about the Festivaland our founders John and Becky who sold their house to fund this fantasticevent.
