All vessels are equipped with a Wärtsilä mainengine suitable for intermediate fuel oil and with a thermal oil heating system. The vessels have great flexibility and are suitable and certified to carry all kinds of general cargo, including IMDG, timber and containers inthe hold and on deck, as well as bulk cargoes including grain. Several provisions, equipment and tools are therefore provided on board.The cargo hold tank top is strengthened for heavy cargoes and grab discharge and is suitable for all type of steel/ steel coil cargoes.The single cargo hold is box-shaped with three hatch openings with hydraulic operated end-folding hatch covers. Throughout the cargohold removable tween deck pontoons can each be fitted at three different height levels at TEU interval. The same tween deck pontoons canbe used as a transverse bulkhead at the fore and aft end of each TEU position on the tank top and/or tween deck.The cargo hold is provided with natural and mechanically ventilation up to 34 air changes per hour with Eexe supply fans, a smokedetection system and CO2 fire extinguish system. A dehumidification system (air dryer) for the cargo hold is provided as well. The tween deck consists of 16 non-watertight steel covers of Lift-Away pontoon type, operated by the deck cranes. The pontoons are dividedin panels of various lengths to suit the opening in the weather deck and the container stowage arrangement. Panels of the same size arebuilt interchangeable with the same nominal measurements. Each tween deck pontoon can be placed in three different vertical heightpositions except at the side tanks in hold 1 and 2 where the lowest position is not available. Tween deck pontoons can be used as vertical bulkhead to create compartments at various positions in both the lower hold as in the tweendeck Cranes are MacGregor Hagglunds (Cargotec) marine electrohydraulic deck cranes with a SWL of 40 mT each from 2.6 meter until 24 meterreach. Cranes are certified for tandem operation (80 mT) from ship to shore or vice versa.
