BECOMING A MEMBER HAS NEVER BEEN EASIERIt's never been easier to become a member of our clubs with online membership applications now available. Becoming a member of our clubs gives you the use of all facilities and services at the Wagga RSL and Commercial Clubs, entry into all promotions and draws, discounts on Wagga RSL motel accommodation and function room hire as well as voting rights at the AGM and other special meetings. Your club membership also gives you access to the free use of kids clubs, courtesy bus, pool and snooker tables at the RSL and private access to both clubs through the back entrances.

Our Star Member loyalty program for members of our clubs is proving to be very popular! Members now receive more benefits and greater discounts. The more members use the facilities at the clubs the higher their rewards. Simply use your membership card when you spend in either club and you will earn points. A detailed brochure about the program is available in either club. You are sure to love the extra rewards!

For just $5 you can become a member of both the Wagga RSL and Commercial Club until 31st December or for just $20 you could become a member for 5 years. Keep an eye out for our online membership renewals coming soon.

By joining our clubs for only $5 you can accrue member points on all purchases which can be used to pay for discounted food and beverages or transferred to a Nexus prepaid eftpos card for use outside of the club.

The Wagga RSL Nexus prepaid eftpos card has been created to give members the freedom to spend their reward points they earn with the club at any merchant in Australia that accepts eftpos (subject to merchant discretion). Members may also load their own funds onto the card for additional or higher value purchases. What do you love to do in your spare time? Imagine what having spare time would be like! Seriously, Norma and I have always been involved in community

activities. I am currently actively involved in Rotary Club of Wollundry, Meals on Wheels, Eunony Bush Fire Brigade and the Over 70’s National Cricket Championships. I also read quite a bit and walk at least 6km every morning.

What is your favourite movie of all time? The Magnificent Seven and more recently, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

If you could change one thing in this world what would it be? For families all over the world to live without fear, in peace, harmony, good health and dignity.

What is your favourite holiday destination? We travel a lot, but Norma’s bucket list rarely requires us to visit the same place twice!

What do you hope to achieve as a Director of our Clubs? To ensure that the memory of our antecedents is preserved and remembered. To always be conscious of ensuring our members needs are provided, within the reasonable financial constraints of our clubs. Encourage and support management in providing safe, happy, and family orientated venues for our members and our staff. To continue to support the many worthy causes and charitable organisations in our community of Wagga Wagga.

I have always regarded my election to the Board of the Wagga RSL & Commercial Clubs as a privilege and honour, at the same time being aware of the many responsibilities involved.
