SURVEY RESULTS Exhibitors at the March 2015 Show

Spring edition attracted over 10,000 collectorsThis year’s Spring edition of the Asia Contemporary Art Show (March 12 – 15 2015, Conrad Hong Kong) was rated highly by exhibitors and visitors alike. More than 10,000 art buyers and collectors visited over the four days, with estimated art sales of a record of HK$28 million. This gure is greatly understated, however, given the large number of sales in the days and weeks following the Show. We expect similar results for upcoming Shows.

“I have been to every edition of the Asia Contemporary Art Show since 2012. Hong

Kong is certainly at the center of the action when the city hosts Hong Kong Art Week

– art fairs, gallery’s exhibits, projects and artist studio visits make it a must visit for

collectors, residents and visitors to Hong Kong.

We always sell well at the Show both spring and fall editions. Competition is keen

amongst the exhibitors, and each edition of the Show gets better. Being right down-

town at the Conrad Hong Kong works, it is so easy to get to and the hotel venue

always a ve-star experience.”

Nancy Lee, Director, Nancy’s Gallery, China, Room 4309

”We have very serious interest in our Andy Warhol original work, and Banksy's. At the

last Asia Contemporary Art Show we sold works by both artists, so it would be a perfect

close to a busy weekend here in Hong Kong to the same again. The Asia Contemporary

Art Show continues to be an exciting platform for international artists - it has both

emerging and established artists. Also, shows some of the top ten artists worldwide

such as Warhol.”

Tanya Baxter, Director, Tanya Baxter Contemporary,

United Kingdom, Rooms 4407 & 4408

“This time, to present a solo exhibit for our 80 year old Italian artist Paolo da San

Lorenzo. Especially to welcome collectors that we have met before through the Show,

who are now collecting the artist’s post-cubism oil paintings. I like the Asia Contem-

porary Art Show for its attention detail, nothing is too much trouble and the format of

the art fair really works – this past weekend we sold more than ten works. Also, the

fact that the Show takes place twice-a-year in Hong Kong - it suits us and we will be

back at the 7th edition of the Show this coming October.”

Mirjam Kok, AquestArte, Switzerland, Room 4323
