Bornemann SLH twin screw pumpsare single-flow and self-priming. Twocontact-free intermeshing screws andthe pump housing form closed chambersthat, according to the direction of rota-tion, constantly move towards the pres-sure discharge end of the pump. Thisaxial system enables cautious, low-pul-

sation conveyance. It protects the mediaand maintains size, surface and visual integrity of the products.

The 2-in-1 principle conveys and cleansin one pump. Due to the wide range of pump speeds up to a maximum of 3,600 rpm, process cycles as well as CIPand SIP procedures are possible with just one pump.

The advantages are obvious: no need fora CIP pump or the associated piping,

valve and MSR technology. It saves valu-able space and reduces your investment costs. The conveyed material passesthrough the entire pump which enablesexcellent cleaning and hygienic results.The Bornemann SLH pump is EHEDGand 3A certified.

Using a modular system, Bornemannoffers four pump sizes and different screw sets that cover a conveyancerange of 40 l/h to 180 m 3 /h with a unit size up to 40 mm diameter. SLH pumps feature no metal-to-metal contact between the pump screws and thehousing. This enables the conveyanceof non-lubricating or corrosive and con-taminated materials. As the pump ro-tates, the intermeshing of the twoscrews along with the pump housingform chambers. These chambers fill withthe pumped fluid and move it from thesuction side of the pump to the higherpressure discharge side of the pump.

Very flexible: The pump is designedto allow for reverse flow by simplychanging the shaft direction. The

suction becomes the discharge and viceversa, all without any modificationsto the pump.

Bornemann SLH pumpscome with a rotationspeed of up to3,600 rpm. Thisrange makes not only process cyclesas well as CIP and SIPprocedures possible with just one pump, but also increasesflexibility of usewith var ying viscosities,temperatures, operating pressures or

other important criteria where efficient and profitable production are the objec-tive.
