• Built in August 2008• Needed a full featured mobile solution

– Other clients on the market:• too bloated• didn’t allow for customization• Poor feature sets• Slow uptake on new Twitter features

• Version 0.1 -> 1.0 (Prototype)– Built on a LAMP stack– Scaled reasonably well– Fell over 14 months in.

• Version 2.0 (rewrite)– Tornado framework (python), Nginx, MySQL, Supervisor– Scaleable!– LNMT (?)
