A Box full of Kisses (Year 3)Synopsis : A father always punish his daughter for wasting aroll of gold wrapping paper. Nevertheless, the little girlbrought the gift to her father the next morning and said, "Thisis for you, Father. The father was embarrassed by his earlier over reaction, buthis anger flared again when he found out the box was empty.One day, his daughter gave an empty box of present to himand he got angry. The little girl looked up at him with tears inher eyes and cried, "Oh, Father, it's not empty at all. I blewkisses into the box. They're all for you, Father."The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl,
and he begged for her forgiveness. Only a short time later, anaccident took the life of his little girl.Moral Value: Love can be shown by spoken words and

Synopsis:A story about an ant and a dove, in which the dove helpedthe ant by plucking a leaf from a tree and dropped it intothe pond where the ant was struggling for life. As a return
of a favour, the ant helped the dove from being shot by abad hunter with a gun, by biting the hunters leg.
Moral Value:Every good deed we do for others will surely come back tous. The dove did a good turn for the ant. So the Ant did agood turn for the dove, in return for the dove's favour.

Examples of Stories (theme: World of Stories) The Crow and the Pitcher (Year 4)
Synopsis:A Crow, half-dead with thirst, came upon a Pitcher which had oncebeen full of water; but when the Crow put its beak into the mouthof the Pitcher he found that only very little water was left in it, andthat he could not reach far enough down to get at it. He tried, andhe tried, but at last had to give up in despair. Then a thought cameto him, and he took a pebble and dropped it into the Pitcher. Thenhe took another pebble and dropped it into the Pitcher. He did itrepeatedly. At last, he saw the water mount up near him, and aftercasting in a few more pebbles he was able to quench his thirst andsave his life.
Moral value: Think and work hard, you may find solution to anyproblem.
