Introduction
The tunneling has been arecurring topic in the currentcivil engineering works. so inthe future construction should
be high as skyscrapers to liveand concentrate large volumesof people as we have seen sofar

Introduction
Even shows a series of patternsthat indicate that the futureagricultural buildings will bevery different from what is
being used, and transportedpeople must do so under theground to avoid any incidentsin everyday life, the trends of
infrastructure like roads andfinal disposal of biologicalwaste indicates this series ofideas.

Common methods of tunneling Several methods of tunneling does exist, the most commonly used are
light machinery, building explosives, and building from top to bottom(top-heading-and-bench method), this means that the vault of thetunnel or the part that supports and distributes the weight is builtfirst, then dig to the bottom, this is done continuously.
This method as all other methods should be supported theoretically
by exploration and extremely important studies which indicate thatthe soil is stable to withdraw volume.

Recent methods and aplications
There are also modern methods of tunneling which time benefit, safety and overall effectiveness.
A method that is currently put into operation in our country andmore specifically in the D.F. through various works as is the subwayline 12 is the tunneling boring machine (TBM) for digging with anefficiency well above traditional methods.

Distrito Federal by it valley morphology and nature of storm waterlagoon is in a phase that liquids tend to rush to recreate a lake.
Attached to this over-exploitation of groundwater water has created aregional subsidence which prevents the exit of wastewater federaldistrict and creates flooding.

To solve this inefficient expulsion of residual liquid is put into operationprojects and the construction of the Tunnel Emitter East (Tunel EmisorOriente TEO) which begins in the Gustavo A. Madero and ends inTulancingo, Hidalgo in the largest treatment plant in Latin America, also inconstruction that would benefit to the Estado de Mexico, Hidalgo and D.F.
For the construction of this tunnel has been available TBM currentlyworking to prevent future flooding
