1. The level of information provided within this submission is not

sufficient for an ISD. Plan layouts throughout the UG2 tunnels

indicating all services under the MGKT scope are expected.

Please reissue as a complete submission. All other comments

are for information. Please only provide drawings relevant to

the submission.

The information is all relevant. Please indicatewhat is expected for an ISD. All electrical tunnelservices are shown in detail. MGJV‟s statement isincorrect, all electrical services under the contractscope of work are applicable in the tunnel. MM

request a detailed explanation from MGJV as allstatements made under this „General‟ item arevery vague, unacceptable and made due to lack ofproject information.

Although there is no need for lightning protectioninside the tunnel, the tunnel beyond the SouthPortal is a Cut & Cover construction with partialand total enclosed noise barriers which should belightning protected, hence the full package oflightning protection drawings in the tunnelpackage.

Please number DRR pages in future.

As this submission is for tunnel electrical ISD, we expect to see

the:

i. Electrical system within the tunnel for UG2 section.

All electrical circuitry and relevant equipment areshown in the drawings

ii. Electrical schematic for tunnel lights and power socket

outlets.

Schematics form part of the electrical package andhave been submitted

iii. Tunnel lighting design and control circuits. Control circuitry is shown

iv. Electrical interfaces with BMS and FSCADA in terms of

I/O list.

All interfaces are shown

v. Detailed comments on every drawing which are

provided in this DRR.

The current submission has 23 typical detail drawings which

mostly shows single details in very big scale and takes up a

drawing. We suggest that the details are shown in an appropriatescale and combined wherever it is addressing the same

area/detail/type and wherever is possible. Our suggestions are

given in this DRR which can reduce the total typical drawing for

lightning protection to 8 drawings.

MM take note of your suggestion but will notnecessarily make any changes to the existing as

all relevant information is shown
