Multi-Antenna Systems
D-TA’s 10 Gigabit Sensor Processing technology has revolutionized sensor system
development. It has created future-proof system architectures that scale linearly as bandwidth
and channel-count increase. This is particularly true for multi-antenna systems. Virtually any
multi-antenna system can be readily configured using solutions from D-TA. D-TA products
offer:
• Both Receive & Transmit Functions;
• Wide Frequency Tuning Range (For COMINT & ELINT Signal Processing);
• Independent or Phase-Coherent Tuning;
• Wideband & Ultra-Wideband (40MHz, 80 MHz, 500 MHz & Beyond) Solutions;
• Built-In Programmable Digital Down Conversion (for BW selection);
• Real-Time Recording & Playback of Baseband (I &Q) Data;
• Built-In Digital Up Conversion (for analog playback);
• Replicated 10 GbE Links for Processing While Recording;
• Fully Integrated & Tested Configurations;
• No User Development Required for Recording, Playback and Post-processing.
For real-time user application development in a multi-core environment D-TA supplies
Software Development Kit (SDK), example cores and also hands-on training (if required). The
following slides demonstrate multi-antenna system configurations for Signal Intercept,
Beamforming, DF & Other Processing.

Portable RFvision1-mini series products use high-performance dual-hetrodyne transceivers
which, unlike poor performing direct conversion (zero-IF) receivers in the market, use RF mixing
stages, pre-selection, post-selection & IF filtering and real-time DSP to achieve high dynamic
range in a crowded electromagnetic environment.

DTA-5000
• DTA-9590 ultra-wideband transceiver provides
0.5-18 GHz frequency range, instantaneous BW of
500 MHz, 12 bit data converters, DDC & DUC
based operating BW selection and baseband I &
Q data conversion.
• I&Q data for each channel is transferred over 2x
10 GbE networks (@1.6 Gbytes/s) for
record/playback and processing.
• Multiple DTA-9590 systems can be used with
independent tuning to increase the stare BW (e.g,
with 8 x DTA-9590 the stare BW can be 4 GHz) in
a high probability of intercept receiver or phase-
coherently for DF or beamforming applications.

Multi-Antenna RF Playback
User PC
DTA-3380 can be configured for any
number of transmit channels for either
phase-coherent or independently tuned
transmit operation. The tuning range is
20 MHz – 6 GHz and the maximum
operating BW is 80 MHz.
Pre-recorded or computer generated
data can played back out at user
selected RF frequencies. Baseband I &
Q data for each channel is first digitally
up converted by on-board DUC to
provide analog IF output for up
conversion to desired RF frequency.
