INCOMING FRESHMEN - LOCAL STUDENTS

The learning options for First Semester of SY 2020-2021 require a unique and updated instructional design and cost structure that are different from the in-school learning format. These differences entailed development costs for (1) accelerating the preparation of learning resources (which basically means putting faculty to work overtime before the school year starts) and for (2) finding waysways to enhance the quality of the online learning experience (by setting up new systems of tracking student engagement and teacher-student interactions on Canvas, of consultation for guidance counseling, career-placement, and health services, of even co-curricular activities via MS Teams, etc.)

The total rebate reflected in the FEU Tuition and Other School Fees (TOSF) has factored in the above-cited elements of remote learning as well as the concern of providing financial assistance to the students who, like FEU, are facing the financial challenges of the pandemic. Each student and degree program will have a different rebate mainly shaped by variances in the total number and type of enand type of enrolled courses.
