Potato competition 2018
The Dolphinholme Show is holding the Potato
Competition again this year. Mrs Baines is selling
potato bags at a cost of £2 per bag. The winner will be deter-
mined by weight at the Village Show on 8th September.
The Village Show Committee include the potato competition
for children each year and we want as many children to get
involved as possible in order to support the show.
If you haven’t bought your potato bag yet, please return your
order form by this Wednesday. If you have lost the order
form, just send the money in a named envelope marked
Potato Competition and hand to Mrs Baines.
The earlier you get the bag and start growing the potatoes,
the more time you have to produce a winning crop.
