All bunk beds purchased after 2003 must comply with the provisions provided in theConsumer Protection Notice No. 1of 2003 - Consumer Product Safety Standard: Bunk Beds.This outlines the minimum and mandatory sections of Australian Standard AS/NZS 4220:2010Bunk beds and other elevated beds. Manufacturers who choose to subject their bunks to testingand pass receive the “ORANGE TICK” certi�cation.

Manufacturers who choose to test their bunks to the FULL AS/NZS 4220:2010 BUNKS BEDSAND OTHER ELEVATED BEDS standard and pass receive the “BLUE TICK” certi�cation.Testing for this is much more comprehensive and includes safety check, strength anddurabilty and stability tests.TubeCo. are extremely proud to o�er a number of slat and metal mesh based bunkswhich are certi�ed to the BLUE TICK.
