    The survey was conducted among the students of BITS Pilani-Dubai

    Campus

    LIMITATIONS

    The data was not collected from students of other educational

    institutions and systems due to the time constraints.

    METHODOLOGY

    The present report is based on the data collected by means of a

    survey through questionnaire.

    LACK OF PERSONALITY DEVOLOPMENT

    Personality and Character are more important than mere

    Textbook Literature taught in classrooms.

    INEFFICIENT EVAUATION SYTEM

    The current system is Quantitative and is focused on the ability

    of a student to memorize something and reproduce the same in

    their papers.

    LESS EMPHASIS ON CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION

    The courses and coursework is generally monotonous, dull

    and often not comprehensible.

    IMPLICATIONS OF THE ROTE LEARNINGPROCESS

    Rote learning is becoming a necessary evil of sorts, and

    need for meaningful learning of concepts is felt.

    On the whole, we have identified that

    majority of the drawbacks within the current

    education system can be resolved by adoptinga more practical approach that incorporates

    Qualitative Assessment and Conceptual

    Learning
