TrueSense* Judo1 in-line backwash filter The Judo filter unit is a complete in-line automatic backwash filter system designed for the removal of particulate matter at the inlet of the SUEZ TrueSense Core Analytes Module, as a stand-alone unit or as part of a TrueSense ICC. It consists of a 100um stainless steel mesh filter contained within a steel housing. The filters remove all coarse and fine grained waterborne impurities. The water flows from the outside to the inside through a cylindrical strainer. Impurities are visible through the filter housing. If the filter is dirty it will be cleaned without the interruption of the water supply or filtration process.

based materials • Clear sight glass, which allows visual inspection

of the filtration, soiling and backwash functions • Filtration achieved through a stainless steel

filter sieve size of 100 microns (30 micron available as a replacement part)

• Automatic backwash, generated by a time actuated relay, with the following available settings: hourly / daily / weekly / monthly

• Automatic differential pressure backwash control setting adjustable from 1-10 PSI differential

• Manual over-ride button for backwash start-up

• Backwash process uses a patented point-rotation system which cleans the filter and glass without any interruption of the water supply or filtration process, though flow is reduced during the cleaning cycle

• LED display indicators for operation, alarm fault buzzer and manual over-ride button for backwash start-up

• Power supply 100-240v/24v ac plug in transformer • Reminder alarm (set to 30 day intervals) • Units MUST BE sheltered against water ingress

when placed in outdoor locations and the electrical power connection MUST MEET site agreed standards

• Care must be taken when lifting and fixing the units due to their weight, up to 30kg/66lb wet weight for the 52mm : 2” filter – mounting brackets are available in EMEA only currently

• The impact on the water pressure from the filter into the TrueSense CAM must be considered to ensure correct operation of the TrueSense CAM
