AIESEC in LC UTM is based in University Teknologi Malaysia, which is located at Skudai, Johor, Malaysia,

Southern part of Peninsula Malaysia. It is 30 minutes from the centre Johor Bahru.

Specialized Unit UTHM, an expansion under LC UTM, which is based in University of Tun Hussein Onn

Malaysia in Batu Pahat, Malaysia.

AIESEC in LC UTM had established for 17 years. Being the sole local committee in Southern region, we have

excellent foundation in Incoming Global Citizen Program, winning many awards since for the past few years.

Location: Kluang, Johor, Malaysia.

Kluang (居銮) is a town that lies about 110 km north of Johor Bahru, east-southeast of Batu Pahat, west of Mersingand south of Segamat. The population of Kluang district exceeds 250,000 residents and the town itself has over 145,000 residents.

What is Tropical Happy Farm project ?

This is the first farming project organized by AIESEC in Southern Region Malaysia. Tropical Happy

Farm project will show you what is authentic organic farms and products. Exchange participant

can experience Malaysia farming culture and learn how to take care of farm animals.

We are waiting for you to join us !!

The first open-to public organic farm in Malaysia, combining the educational and recreational purposes.

Experience real country life, enjoy fresh harvest.

100-Acre park that mainly comprises of a greenhouse area (vegetable farm) and

fruit farms.

They also have more than 100 types of herbs.

They offer guided park tour with in-house

tour guide.

teaching indoor farming and

fertilizer activities.

• Animal farm – involve in pet

feeding and take care pet.

• EPs have chance to involve in food

processing department such as

tea, jam or food production.

as prepare the organic vegetables

for steamboat/making tea for

customer.

• EP can experience different

farming culture and experience.

Working Condition

• Accommodation provided• Internet access provided• 3 meals per day provided• Working hours from

7.00am to 1.00pm• 6 working days per week• No salary

Preparation• Prepare to be a volunteer with right mindset and clear know the reason why you

come to Malaysia and why you choose environmental based project.

• Prepare for a small Global village event (preferred)

• Able to work under a hot weather.

• Read or research about Malaysian culture.

• EP can bring camera and laptop for photo collection.
