Trivial Board Game We are no strangers to trivia TV shows and games. The word trivia means considerations or pieces of information that are of little importance. Our brain works in a manner that we recollect just critical things promptly and overlook the normal things easily. The trivia games or shows are based on the fact that we have a tendency to overlook negligible unimportant things. The contestants are asked questions based on popular culture or general knowledge. Trivia games became very popular in the early 1980s in America. "Trivial Pursuit" became a popular trivia game. It was a fun board game in which the progress of a player was determined based on his ability to answer questions on general knowledge. The game was so popular in the North American continent that it sold almost 20 million games in 1984. In the age of television in America and Europe, the Trivia Game TV shows like "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” became super hit and registered record number of viewers. A few years back in India a similar kind of show was released called “Kaun Banega Crore Pati” starring Amitabh Bacchan. Later a show called “India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun” starring Shah Rukh Khan was also released and gained much popularity.
