El Hierro trusts in a model of "sustainable development"; it has placed its efforts on the primary sector, i.e. agriculture, stock-farming and fishery as a source of development and maintenance of the cultural, provincial and environ- mental values. Z.Zt. wird durch das spanische Ministerium fuer Zivilschutz ein Plan vorangetrieben, um El Hierro als erste Insel der Erde in ein Gemeinwesen zu verwandeln, das sich vollkommen aus erneuerbaren Energien erhaelt. El Hierro vertraut auf ein Modell "erhaltbarer Entwicklung"; die Insel hat ihre Anstrengungen auf den Grundsektor konzentriert, d.h. Landwirtschaſt, Viehwirtschaſt und Fischerei, als Quelle der Entwicklung und Aufrechterhaltung kultureller, landschaſtlicher und umweltbezogener Werte. La quesadilla dulce La Herreña es un postre elaborado a partir de ingredientes naturales como lo son nuestro mejor queso, huevo, harina de trigo, azúcar, limón y anís. Todos estos productos son mezclados al son de una de las recetas mejor conservada a lo largo de los años.

Der milde "quesadilla" von El Hierro ist eine Nachspeise, basierend auf natuerlichen Komponenten, wie unserem besten Kaese, Eiern Mehl, Zucker, Zitrone und Anis. All diese Produkte werden gemis-cht nach ueber die Jahre gehueteten besten Rezepten.
