Tuesdays 12 - 1pm (www.kathyroy.com) Session 3: Open to the Sacred March 26 Session 4: Sacred Words April 2 Session 5: Being Love in the World April 9 If you would like to observe Lent but are not interested in a group, you might like to take advantage of an online retreat series called, “Lent on a Plate.” The series, which Donna will use as worship themes for the weeks of Lent, uses the many meals Jesus shared with his followers to provide a common thread. For information, contact the church office. If you are a newcomer, we invite you to fill out the bookmark (found in a hymn book or beside the Guest Book), and place it in the offering plate. We would like to get to know you! The system to assist hearing impaired persons may be accessed by turning hearing aids to the “T” setting. As many of you may have heard, one of our previous ministers’, Rev. Roy DeMarsh’s son Peter was killed in the Ethiopian Airlines crash. A memorial service is expected to be held but a date hasn’t been set yet. Thursday, May 30 @7:00 in the sanctuary. Guest presenter, Rev. Michael Dowd, forward thinking and provocative, Dowd is author of “Thank God for Evolution”. He sees a role for churches as leaders in this time of change and uncertainty. More details to follow, but please mark the date! Fling into Spring, an auction and silent auction will take place at Sharon St. John United Church, Stellarton on Friday, April 5th, with viewing at 6:30 pm and auction beginning at 7:00 p.m. There will be local entertainment, tea, coffee and a dessert table!
