Horizontal installation, flow direction from bottom to top

Horizontal installation, flow direction from top to bottom.

The pumps can be directly installed in the piping in any position,but not with the motor pointing downwards.

Vertical installation

Horizontal installation (for example under the ceiling)

Twin pumps must not be arranged in ’flow directionfrom top to bottom’, since under certain operatingconditions the change-over flap of the Y-pipe will notshut off completely. This would produce reverse flowin the secondpump. In this case, changeover from thefirst to the second pump might cause damage.
