  • With over 150 years in the industry our knowledgeand expertise in screening media has evolved towhere we can supply you with the optimal solutionto your screening requirements for lowest total cost.We offer a complete range of opening, wire dia-meter, metal and weave types enabling us to provideyou with the correct product for your application.Along with our extensive inventory we are capableof custom building to your exact specifications.

    Metal selection

Superloy – High Carbon SteelSuperloy offers a combination of excellent fatigue re-sistance coupled with good abrasion resistance. Formost aggregate producers these two factors are themost important in determining metal type.

Superior quality and technical backupLudloy – Oil TemperedLudloy has more carbon and manganese than Superloyproviding superior abrasion resistance and good fatigueresistance. This is critical when abrasion is the primaryfactor.

Astroloy - Stainless SteelAstroloy is an extremely hard, abrasion and corrosionresistant metal. This metal excels when used in applica-tions where the material is extremely abrasive andchemically corrosive. The smooth surface of the metalprevents material from adhering to it, making it ideal inapplications where the material is damp and prone toblinding.

  • Square opening screens

Available in a wide range of openings and wire diam-eters, square opening screens are the most common andversatile forms of wire screening media. Trellex squareopening screens offer the most accurate sizing of anywire media available.

    Slotted screens

Slotted screens offer the user greater open area provid-ing maximum through put of material.

Trellex Rek-Tang ScreensWhen greater production is desired along with accuratesizing Trellex Rek-Tang is preferred. The rectangularopening forms a large open area allowing more mate-rial to pass through while maintaining accurate sizingof the desired product.

Trellex Sta-Clear ScreensWhen screening material that has a tendency to adhereto the wire (blinding), or become wedged (pegging) insquare opening or rectangular opening screens with ashort slot length, Sta-Clear screens fit the application. With its triple fill wire configuration Sta-Clear screensoffer a longer slot without loss in strength.

Trellex Hi-T ScreensTrellex Hi-T screens are made from Astroloy stainlesssteel molded in place with abrasion resistant poly-urethane. This un-crimped long slot configuration pro-vides greater open area that will maximize materialthrough-put. The rugged polyurethane profiles anchorthe wires securely in place allowing the Hi-T to withstandlarger feed material and loads than other straight warpscreens.

Trellex SHTrellex SH is one of the most efficient methods of screen-ing fines available in the market place. Primarily used inportable screening units Trellex SH provides maximumproduction when screening sand and gravel, top soil, compost, landfill debris, slag, and construction debris.Trellex SH is manufactured as a complete unit and con-sists of tensioned wires with moveable profiles to reducechange out down time.

  • Self cleaning screens

Trellex Sta-Clean ScreensManufactured using alternatively straight and horizon-tally crimped wires Trellex Sta-Clean screens provide aunique self cleaning action, reducing blinding and peg-ging which leads to increased screening efficiency. Sta-Clean S panels use the same self cleaning action as thestandard L series but the straight wires are omitted. Thisenables the panel to excel with even the most difficultmaterials where other screens would quickly blind orpeg over.

Trellex Poly-Clean ScreensPoly-Clean panels are designed for high abrasion appli-cations where the material has a tendency to blind orpeg. Manufactured using abrasion resistant poly-urethane profiles molded over Ludloy or Astroloy wire,a Poly-Clean will provide superior wear life. The Poly-Clean is available in both L and S styles.

    Crown bar channel rubber

Trellex offers a range of extra heavy-duty crown barchannel rubbers in abrasion resistant rubber quality. They are designed to grip the rails tight and to stay inposition under most severe conditions. More cross sec-tion of rubber above the rails than any other channelrubber offered.

    Weave types

Trellex Arch Crimp WeaveMost efficient weave for heavy-duty screens when ratiobetween width and wire diameter permits its use. As ageneral rule, opening width should be at least 3 timesthe wire diameter. Trellex Arch Crimp is extremely dura-ble because each wire is locked in place to maintain ac-curacy of openings for the life of the screen.

Trellex Double Crimp WeaveProbably the most common of the standard weaves.Double crimp is used when Arch crimp weaves cannotbe furnished because wire diameter is too large in rela-tion to opening size. Generally used in extremely heavyscreen cloths and those with relatively small openings.

Trellex Sta-Smooth WeaveProviding a level, smooth surface, the Sta Smooth weaveemploys a type of rigidity interlocked crimp that insures

    Precision testing sieves

Trellex offers a choice of brass testing sieves (full or halfheight). The brass frames range from 3” to 12” in diam-eter. Available in all meshes: U.S Series equivalent, millimeter or micron size. These long life brass sieves conform to all federal, stateand independent agencies concerned with standardsof precision testing equipment and are guaranteed tomeet these test standards.

maintenance of accurate, uniform openings. When usedin the correct application, because of the level weave, there is considerable reduction of friction from materialpassing over the screen and, in many cases, far less wearfrom abrasion than in screens made with surface crimps.
