‘GREAT’ OUTDOOR PURSUITS DAY We went to Llanymynech Rocks and were in teams for orienteering and we had to find as many numbers as possible using a compass, some had walkie talkies. We had lunch then we went to the canal to do the canoeing. We wore life jackets and helmets and we had to paddle under the bridge and tap it and we did races where we had to turn round, luckily no one fell in! Esmee

PUFFIN’s TRIP EXPERIENCE Following the trip to Bryn Offa school last Tuesday, the Puffins had lots to say about their experiences with Bryn Offa pupils and the Shropshire Wildlife Trust . . . Betsy "I really enjoyed all of the activities we did, which were: spotting and identifying butterflies; making butterfly feeders; taking part in the egg box challenge; hunting for mini-beasts; designing and making mini-National Parks; meeting a tree; toasting marshmallows and finally nature sketching. I can't believe how we managed to squeeze in all of those things in one day!" Zara "We all loved making the mini-National Parks. I had a pond in the middle of mine." Hayden "We did so many amazing activities. I loved trying to catch the grasshoppers, they were fast!"

SCHOOL SHOES, PLEASE! Due to the exceptional weather recently some children have started to wear open toe

sandals for school. Our School uniform policy states, that all children should have

closed toe shoes with socks. In the interests of safety, we would like children to return
