Lobster BisqueTree House Lobster Bisque has become one of our guests’ favorites. Because of this, we try to offer it daily at 3.99 a cup and a bowl for 5.99. Fresh cream and

lobster meat, with a touch of rosemary and spice, make this soup very pleasing.

A Great Pair A light plate, yet a filling combination— your choice of a cup of soup and any half sandwich, matched with a medley of fresh cut fruit. 10.50

Lighter Fare Tree House Quiche

At 8.99 the broccoli and cheddar cheese or the spinach and Swiss cheese quiche

served with fresh cut fruit or a garden side salad is a nice light combination.

Fresh Fruit Plate We hand select our fruit at the market hoping to offer our guests the sweetest

and most favorable choices of the season. Combined with strawberry yogurt and

a grain item at 11.99, this calming group can be highlighted by a glass of white wine

from our wine list.

HistoryThe Tree House Gallery and Tea Room, or the “front” house of Olde Avon Village, is the original farmhouse of the Mathias Alten property, built in the Georgian Colonial style around 1850. Alten came to the United States from Germany in 1845 where he married Gertrude Weber. They raised nine children in this house, willing the home and part of the acreage to the youngest child, Rosa. In 1896 Rosa married Peter Casper, thus the designation “Alten-Casper House” to indicate the first and last families to actually use the house as a family home.
