The Rooftop (TRE) Series provides an economical solution for today’s HVAC challenges. The TRE product line offers the option of introducing a fi xed amount of outside air year-round or a modulating Economizer to provide free cooling when outdoor conditions are favorable. TRE units are designed for an extended range of source water temperatures, making it suitable for closed-loop, or ground source closed-loop systems. With high effi ciency scroll compressors and belt drive motors, the TRE product line offers 13+ EER and 4+ COP. Also available is an optional Unitized Energy Recovery Ventilator for outside air.

The energy recovery wheel inside the ERV unit transfers energy from the warmer to the cooler air stream through counter-fl owing supply and exhaust air streams through a slow rotating wheel. The large energy transfer surface arranged to provide laminar air fl ow through the wheel causes the constant fl ow of recovered energy to represent up to 80% of the difference in total energy contained within the two air streams. The Unitized Rx (ERV) Series is designed as a matched unit for use with TRE Rooftops in applications requiring maximum energy effi ciency in a make-up air unit, up to 100% outside air.

UNIT FEATURES

• Units are offered in the following CFM’s: TRE 036–072 : 300–1700 CFM TRE 096–144 : 600–3600 CFM TRE 168–240 : 1100–6200 CFM outdoor air mixed with return air or up to 100% outside air• Avoids using large gas makeup air units and complicated

refrigeration controls to handle outside air• Simple operation facilitates ease of maintenance and

troubleshooting• Decreases building equipment tonnage required, which

reduces installation costs• Can cut loop costs up to 50% for ground loop (geothermal)

applications by reducing equipment tonnage required• AirXchange ARI 1060 certifi ed energy recovery wheels are

used and carry a 5 year limited warranty.• The wheel desiccant material is permanently integrated into

the media of the wheel. The energy recovery cassette is a UL recognized component for electrical and fi re safety.

• Internal enthalpy wheels are easily cleanable. All wheels over 29” are segmented into easily removable pie segments

• Available with enthalpy or sensible only wheel for a variety of applications

• Available fi xed or pivoting wheel confi guration.• Epoxy powder paint fi nish to withstand outdoor environments• Centrifugal belt-driven forward-curved blowers with adjustable

pulleys and isolation pads. High effi ciency motors are thermally protected

• 2” pleated pre-fi lters for outside air with 2” pleated fi lters on exhaust air (Standard) help keep the wheel clean. Up to MERV 13 fi lter compatible

• Heavy duty base rails for easy lifting and rigging• All wheels are designed to easily slide in and out of the ERV

for servicing.• Continuous operation down to 10°F (-12°C) without defrost at

indoor relative humidity up to 40%. For temperatures below 10°F (-12°C), Optional Low Ambient Control Kit is required.

• Available PID/Non-PID UFD on both blowers• Available rotation sensor and disconnects• Available monitor options – Differential pressure gauge, dirty

fi lter sensor and CO2 sensor• Available supply/exhaust dampers
