The Transport Plan

Why does Sky need a travel plan?

• To comply with GLA and TfL targets related to H1 planning permission• To effectively manage restricted parking• To respond to staff needs to recruit and retain best employees possible• To reinforce Sky’s green credentials

Transport Strategy OverviewMain issues

Why? Legal requirement related to planning application for Harlequin 1 building to reduce the number of car parking spaces on site by 536 by 2016

What are the main issues?•Increased occupancy of Campus leading to increased demand for parking •Many staff live far away and/ or work on shifts making the alternatives unviable

StrategyTo facilitate voluntary behaviour change for Sky people who can most easily change behaviour, so that those who have no alternatives can travel to work by car
