GENERAL INFORMATION Dear Participants of ITE Exhibitions in Azerbaijan! GREENWICH Travel Club is the official incoming tour operator of Iteca Caspian LLC. Our rates proved to be competitive and corresponding to the level of each hotel. The agency is flexible with price negotiation for group reservations. How To Reserve A Hotel Through Our Agency? Before booking carefully read the Reservation Policy (page 10) to be aware of the general conditions we follow. Nationals who need entry visa to Azerbaijan we advise first to get acquainted with the Visa procedure section (page 5-6). Look through the list of our partner-hotels to select the accommodation that suits you. Fill in the Reservation Form (page 26) and send it to us. Our operators will contact you within 1 (one) working day to complete the order and proceed your reservation. SHUTTLE BUS SCHEDULE Exhibitors can use the buses which leave every hour from “Narimanov Narimanov” Metro Station (the bus stop is opposite to McDonald`s) to Baku Expo Center and back. Shuttle buses time-table can be obtained from the websites www.bakubuild.az, www.aquatherm-baku.com, www.cips.az on the ‘VISITING’ page (schedules are usually posted on the site 1 month before the exhibition starts).

VISA PROCEDURE Note: If you are applying for visa to the embassy, our visa assistance is provided as a part of accommodation package and it is free of charge. If our visa assistance service is ordered without accommodation it will be subject to 50 AZN per person (only for exhibitors).

Citizens of the CIS countries do not need visa to enter Azerbaijan (except Turkmenistan). Citizens of Turkey and Israel has simplified visa procedure. The visa is granted upon arrival at the Baku International Airport named after H.Aliyev. You need to fill in the Application form (provided at the airport), provide 2 passport photos and pay USD 10$ fee (for Turkish citizens) or USD 40$ (for Israeli citizens). Citizens of other countries need to obtain visa in one of the nearest Azerbaijani diplomatic missions abroad before traveling to Azerbaijan. Citizens of Czech Republic, Peoples Republic of China and people having resident visas in Russia and UAE should have the Visa Support Letter (VSL) from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan when applying for visa. Citizens of some Asian and Pacific Ocean Islands’ countries also should have the Visa Support Letter (VSL) from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan when applying for visa. Please, note that the VSL to these nationals is provided selectively. We can`t provide visa assistance for the citizens of African countries (except Morocco and Egypt).

Exhibitors are provided with the Letter of Invitation (LOI) on the ITECA`s letterhead which allows them to apply for Business visa (single entry, valid for 3 months with 30 days maximum period of stay). For professional visitors only tourist visa is possible (single entry, valid for the period of hotel booking). In this case visa assistance is provided only if the hotel booking is made through our agency. For the LOI the following is needed: good quality scanned copy of the passport sent to [email protected] along with Full Name of Company, Arrival date, Departure date, Name of country and city where you apply for visa, Contact details. Issuing of LOI takes 1-2 working days.

Proceeding of visas in the Consulate can take up to 10-14 working days (please, confirm with the correspondent diplomatic mission).

Note: As many exhibitors usually plan to visit several exhibitions and have many business trips, it is strongly recommended to obtain your visa beforehand.

VISA SUPPORT LETTER (VSL)

Your LOI along with your passport copy will be submitted to the Consulate Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan in Baku. The approval process takes 30 days. Approved VSL is faxed/e-mailed by MFA directly to the relevant Consulate of the Republic of Azerbaijan where the visa is to be obtained. We also send a copy to the applicant`s e-mail. Urgent service (2 working days) can be provided by GREENWICH Travel as well. Prices depend on the country of the citizenship and available upon request.

Important: Due to the new visa system (from January 2012) all applicants should apply to the Consulate in person to provide their fingertips and biometric photos, new online applications are filled by the Consulate employees in applicant`s presence. In this case there is no need in the VSL. Before appliance, please, confirm if the particular Azeri consulate is already connected to this system.

Warning: Non-compliance with the entry regulations will result in the deportation of the traveler.

More information on the types of visa and period of stay in Azerbaijan can be obtained at www.mfa.gov.az. The rules and

fees are subject to change without prior notification.

Usual list of documents needed to apply for visa in Azeri embassies: - One visa application form - Two recent passport size photographs (3,5 x 4,5 cm) - Valid passport (6 months after the end of the trip) - Invitation letter (LOI or VSL) - Hotel booking confirmation - Proof of payment of visa fee

E-VISA From 1st of April 2013 we have a new type of visa – electronic tourist visa.

The e-Visa replaces traditional visas formerly stamped in the traveler’s passport. It`s an A4 paper size document with your photo, passport details, validity information and bar code.

To get an e-Visa you don`t need to apply to the embassy and leave your passport for processing. You only have to send the needed documents to our e-mail [email protected]:

1. Filled in application form, in WORD format , application forms filled by hands will not be accepted (To get the Application form for e-Visa, please, contact us: [email protected]) 2. Scanned passport copy (colored, good quality) in JPEG format (Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6-months beyond the duration of stay in Azerbaijan) 3. Scanned photo 3 x 4 sm, (colored, on white background, good quality) in JPEG format 4. Air ticket (or it`s booking confirmation) in JPEG format E-visas are being processed via special electronic system which belongs to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Maximum processing time in MFA is 15 working days. After the visa is issued it will be immediately sent to you via e-mail.

E-Visa fee is 60 €, including consular fee and our services. This fee is not refundable.

The e-Visa is valid for 30 days (validity days are shown in the e-Visa), single entry, with duration of stay covering your hotel booking period (also shown in the e-Visa).

To get an e-Visa from GREENWICH Travel Club your hotel booking must be also made via our agency.

RESERVATION POLICY & TERMS OF PAYMENT Note: Please, carefully read the conditions on this page before booking. BOOKING. To make reservation you should select the required accommodation from the list of hotels and transport services we offer. Fill in the Reservation Form and send it to the [email protected]. If you haven’t found the required accommodation or you need different type of approach, our operators will provide you with more options to select from. Note: To ensure the required number of rooms in the hotel the Reservation Form is advised to be sent in minimum 30 days prior to your arrival (50 days for groups more than 10 people).

CONFIRMATION & INVOICING. We will send you Hotel Booking Confirmation within 1-2 working days by e-mail or fax. You can pay for the selected services by wire transfer on our account. The scanned Invoice with total amount will be sent to you by e-mail. The original Invoice will be submitted on your arrival to Baku, if needed. If you prefer to pay for your accommodation by Credit Card directly to the hotel upon arrival, the scanned copy of the Credit Card (front side) should be provided to guarantee the booking.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE. The payment is made in Azerbaijan Manat (AZN) or its equivalent in the related currency (EURO, USD, RUB). The rate of the currency is calculated on the day of issuing of the Invoice according to the exchange rate of the International Bank of Azerbaijan Republic. 100% of all wire transfer payments must be done in advance. The payment should be done during 5 (five) working days after receiving of the Invoice. All bank transfer and service fees are paid by the Customer. Please note that 2 % for correspondent bank charges will be added to the total amount of the Invoice.

Note: The reservation will be canceled if the payment is not received by the due date.

CANCELLATION. You may cancel your reservation by sending a note to [email protected]. The refund of the prepaid amount will be done to the Customer within 14-28 working days upon receiving of the Cancellation note excluding bank transfer fees and cancellation charges, if the cancellation will be done after the deadline. Cancellation deadlines depend on the rules of the hotel where the reservation was made and are shown in the Hotel Booking Confirmation.

Baku sightseeing (3-4 hours) Go around the capital of Azerbaijan, one of the oldest and biggest cities of the east. Ateshgah (The Temple of the Fire Worshippers) The Ateshgah or "Fire Temple" is a castle-like religious structure in Surakhani, a suburb of Baku. The pentagonal complex, which has a courtyard surrounded by cells for monks and a tetra pillar altar in the middle, was built during the 17th and 18th centuries. It was abandoned after 1883 when oil and gas plants were established in the vicinity. The complex was turned into a museum in 1975 and now receives 15,000 visitors a year. It was nominated for World Heritage Site status in 1998 and was declared a state historical-architectural reserve by decree of the Azeri President on 19 December 2007.

Gobustan Qobustan is a settlement and municipality in Baku. It is best known for being the home to the famous rock petroglyphs and mud volcanoes. The area has been settled since the 8th millennium BC. It is known for hosting thousands of rock engravings spread over 100 square km depicting hunting scenes, people, ships, constellations and animals. Its oldest petroglyphs date from the 12th century BC. In 2007, UNESCO included the 'Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape' in the World Heritage list.

There are inscriptions nearby left by a Roman Legionaire around 75AD during the reign of Emperor Domitian which is the eastern-most Roman inscription ever found. Gobustan is also famous for its mud volcanoes. Nearly 300 of the world's 700 mud volcanoes are located in this part of eastern Azerbaijan near the Caspian Sea. Additionally, near Maraza in this area, there is the mausoleum of Sufi mystic Diri Baba (which translates to "Living Grandfather") built in 1402.
