Trans Murder Monitoring IDAHOT 2014 update:1,509 reported cases of murdered trans people between January 2008 and March 2014

Central und South America (1188): Argentina (28), Bolivia (13), Brazil (602), Belize (1), Chile (5), Columbia (80), Costa Rica (4), Cuba (2), Dominican Republic (31), Ecuador (15), El Salvador (12), Guatemala (36), Guyana (1), Honduras (65), Jamaica (2), Mexico (160), Nicaragua (5), Panama (2), Paraguay (6), Peru (18), Puerto Rico (9), Uruguay (10), Venezuela (81).

Asia (124): Afghanistan (1), Azerbaijan (2), Bangladesh (2), Cambodia (1), China (6), India (35), Indonesia (7), Iran (1), Iraq (3), Malaysia (7), Nepal (1), Pakistan (21), Philippines (29), Singapore (1), South Korea (1), Thailand (6).

Pilot studies conducted in India, the Philippines, Serbia, Tonga, Turkey, and Venezuela
