FAMOC manage#ObsessedWithSecurity
FAMOC helps companies give people what they want – brand new shiny devices, emerging technologies and tools necessary to make their job done. We handle the security part, taking into account the greatest risk that comes from within – your staff.
FAMOC manage simplifies deploying, configuring and managing all smartphones and tablets in your organization. It’s one place where you control everything: you can create profiles, enforce restrictions, set PIN and password policies and many more.
#1Transport / logistics / retail challenges in the field of mobile management and security
We realize how difficult can be to secure all mobile devices in the company. It can be much harder if those devices are working in the field, all over the country or wider. These are the challenges of transport, logistics and retails sectors. That’s why we prepared for them a short guide to the most important FAMOC manage features, especially useful in those industries.

Kiosk mode/ dedicated device
What is kiosk mode?
/ device dedicated to one specific purpose/ limited number of apps (or only one app)/ device controlled by admin/ less system apps
FAMOC gives you two methods of using Kiosk mode:
1. FAMOC home screen (FAMOC Launcher) that gives access only to several applications with little or no options to be modified (e.g. apps for packages registration)
2. Single application that runs constantly on a device and can’t be closed (e.g. navigation app for drivers)

Remote access#ObsessedWithSecurity
/ Remote Access is a tool that allows Administrator to remotely manage the end user’s device. The solution provides a real time view of the remote device screen and allows the administrator to take control of the keyboard after being granted consent by the user.
/ This feature is especially useful in the industries with the employees working in the field (transport, postal services etc.).
/ The end user has to agree for the remote access.
/ Once you enable remote access, you can easily browse the content and perform the necessary operations. Using File Manager you can download selected files on your computer as well as upload your own files to the device.
Remote apps distribution#ObsessedWithSecurity
/ Applications needed for work can be distributed to devices as a group or as a single application. Android Enterprise integration allows businesses to set up an enterprise app store.
Android Managed Configuration
Some apps include built-in settings templates, which can be configured and implemented remotely on a device. This option is available only for apps that:
1. Have this feature enabled by its developer2. Have been enabled for Managed

Location tracking#ObsessedWithSecurity
/ The Locations tab enables FAMOC user to monitor devices’ or users’ positions, which may be retrieved from a mobile device. The administrator can see on the map the last position of every mobile device, which retrieves location data.
/ You can freely select and unselect devices shown on the map, up to 14 devices at the same time. For each device you can see last retrieved location and another 20 previous locations.

Car mode#ObsessedWithSecurity
/ The car mode allows you to control the speed - in the admin console you can set the vehicle speed (from 50 km/h to 200 km/h), at which the policy you set will be automatically activate.
Speed is checked every second and when the last 10 measurements are above the specified speed (+10% km/h tolerance), the restriction policy is applied.
Thanks to that you can, for example, block specific apps, calls or text messages when exceeding the speed limit in order to maintain the safety of the driver. When the driver reduces speed to the speed allowed by the administrator, the normal policy will be applied again.
Screen backlight schedule#ObsessedWithSecurity
/ This configuration can be especially useful in Point of Sales - for example to display a specific content or offer during the POS working hours. You can also use it in the museum or in the office on devices in kiosk mode. The schedule of screen display prevents the abuse of battery of the device.
/ Administrator can set the behaviour of the screen:/ turn off/ turn on immediately with specified duration in minutes/ turn on on schedule, where start/ end date and time can be set.
