Assemblymember Shirley Weber for the Health Fair, Back-to-School Fair and Ribbon-cutting celebration for the

Let’s Play Ball! NEWS | Councilmember Cole was thrilled to perform the ceremonial role of “ringing the

bell” at the San Diego Padre’s 2nd Annual African American Heritage Night on Saturday, July 19, 2014.

There was on-field recognition for our local Negro League legends and community trailblazers. Thank you

to the Multi-Cultural Convention Services Network for making it happen.
