For tempered glass doors,the RTS 85 is used with aspecial fixing bracket, Art.-No. 8520 G, giving a 65 mm pivot point. Thestandard patch fittings can thus be used withappropriate inserts.(Patch fittings with insertavailable from DORMA Glassrange of products).

Art.-No. 8560 GWith sealed roller bearingassembly, rust-protected, formax. door weights of 110 kg(if used without the transomconcealed door closer, then200 kg).Special pivots also availablewith extended spindles of 5, 10 and 15 mm, and alsofor special environments(e.g. wet rooms) in stainlesssteel; Art.-No. 8560 GE(only available with standardspindle).The floor pivot bearing combined with appropriatebottom straps from theaccessories range forDORMA BTS floor springs isalso suitable for aluminium,steel and timber doors.

Single action doors hung onbutt hinges or offset pivotscan be connected to the closer with slide arm andchannel assemblies. Pleasenote that this applicationmay reduce the maximumopening angle available on the door. Similarly, if ahold-open model has beenselected, the hold-openpoint will be altered: eginstead of 105°, the position

will lie between 90° and100°, depending on doorthickness.
