Dear Mr. Livesay: The purpose of this letter is to transmit to you the results .of the December 1988 outfall monitoring at the Combustion, Inc. site. Outfall Monitoring The Pond N outfall sample was collected by Mr. Henry W. Goyette of ERM-Southwest on December 28, 1988. The samples were put on ice when collected and delivered to West-Paine Laboratories in Baton Rouge by Mr. Goyette. The laboratory's analytical report (including completed chain-of-custody forms) are provided in Attachment 1. The results were generally consistent with previous results, although five volatile organic compounds at low concentrations were detected 1 as shown in Table I. No other organic or inorganic hazardous constituents were detected in the sample. ; ^The^ detection of uethylene chloride is suspect; the value reported by the laboratory was the same as the detection limitI 144026 5e: 16000 Memorial Drive Suite 200 Houston, Texas 77079-4006 «(713) 496-9600 =^^—_ __ . - --- __ - » * _ Tffcft_" _ f Of tha Efmi&nm&$a& Resources Management Group wi^'ofSc^frT^ •' * T ^*«^- »** * .
