The Transition to Work Programme aims to meet the industry skills shortage, through a collaboration between Connexis, Industry, a funding partner, and a residential venue to teach new employees the skills required to work in the Civil Construction Industry.

WHAT IS INVOLVED?
WHICH SKILLS DOES IT COVER?
This is a 2-week residential programme for candidates accepted for employment. This programme is a residential course to allow family to make the necessary adjustments to full-time employment.
The programme takes place at the Waiouru Military Camp or an agreed alternative location.All candidates will be enrolled in the New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Works Level 2.As the industry partner, you tell us:
• How many staff are required• When you need them ready to start work• What skills they require to complete the job
