WELDING & CUTTING

Course Description:

This course introduces the student to the fundamentals of Welding. It provides the student with opportunities for hands-on training in shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (TIG), gas metal arc welding (MIG) and oxyfuel gas welding. The student will also be instructed in the safe use of a plasma cutter, oxyacetalene cutting torch and various saws and grinders. The student will receive training in welding and machine shop safety practices.

Course Objectives:

At the end of this course the participants will learn the three general methods by which a weld is achieved. Participants will learn the physics of various welding and cutting processes and how to apply them in manufacturing maintenance projects.

Course Description:Overhead crane operator training course will help you meet OSHA and ASME B30.2 requirements for training. Seasoned and Novice crane operators alike benefit from the information concerning basic crane construction, rigging, crane controls, load swing and pre-operational inspections.

Course Objectives:At the end of the training the participants will be able to identify:

Types of crane and identify their design and application differences. Perform all required safety preventive maintenance on the crane. Perform a safe disassemble, inspection, repair, adjustments, lubrication and reassembly of crane. Describe a safe crane maintenance updates and how they affect the installation, operation and maintenance of

the crane. Perform a safe troubleshooting of both mechanical and electrical problem on malfunctioning crane. Become confident in carrying out difficult tasks.

EVACUATION EQUIPMENT AND SURVIVAL AT SEA

Course Description:

This course is focusing on the duty and responsibilities of an Evacuation. Trainees also will be taught about sea training; and personnel in emergency response in evacuation equipment and survival at sea.

Course Objectives:

The goal of this Traveling by Boat and Survival at Sea training is to provide participants with a thorough understanding of the risk involve while travelling by boat and increase the skills of offshore personnel in emergency response, personal and collective survival at sea. At the end of this training, each participant should be able to:

Use life-saving equipment offshore. Practice the seven steps to survival. Make and interprets distress alert. Use emergency signals offshore Efficiently fight against Hypothermia. Fully implement evacuation procedures. Extend his/her lifetime in deep sea. Fight efficiently against fire outbreaks. Perform first aid where possible.
