    Our aim is to promote the training and learning culture within Flight Operations and to

    show our commitment in delivering quality training solutions to the Air Transport

    Industry.

    SITA Flight Operations Training Services provides a wide range of Flight Operations

    Course Objectives

    This course has been designed to provide participants with the necessary flightplanning guidance and to support them in generating the relevant flight briefinginformation. Participants will be introduced to flight plan preparation and also surfaceweather and NOTAM information.

    This course has been designed to provide experienced flight dispatch and aircraftperformance staff with a comprehensive understanding of aircraft performance withmain focus on limitations. The course will be based on various aspects ofperformance limitations that affect flight operations at pre- planning stage and also in-flight.

    The Airline Operations Course has been designed to provide participants with a goodunderstanding of the activities within an airline operations environment and todevelop their multi-modal skills required, and the confidence to act decisively inproblematic situations. This course will strengthen the participants ability in runningtheir airlines operations department smoothly and efficiently, while taking intoconsiderations operational policies to ensure safety. This course will explain theimportance of commercial and technical awareness within flight operations and itsimpact in the day to day operations. The course will also highlight the on going

    development in flight operations activities with new set up such as OperationsControl Centres (OCCs) and Integrated Operations Control Centres (IOCCs).

    This course has been designed to provide flight operations staff with thefundamentals of crew rostering and planning. Most airlines have different crewrostering policies, with most of them working on fairly similar ground rules to reflectthe safety concerns based on the importance of adequate crew rest. This course willprovide an overview of the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Publication (CAP) 371 andalso best practices within crew rostering and planning.

    This course will provide participants with an extensive exposure to the GraFlite FlightPlanning tool to enable them to evaluate the most effective solution to generate flightbriefing data. This course will be focused towards the typical day to day user ofGraFlite.

    This course has been designed to strengthen the knowledge of GraFlite users and toprovide them with the necessary parameter management and maintenancetechniques. The emphasis of this course is to highlight the importance of flightplanning data management within GraFlite to optimise uses of the application and toensure the correct parameters are being used for Computer Flight Plan calculation.
