Assurance Level 3 (TAQA) Who are the Level 3 TAQA
qualifications suitable for?
The TAQA qualification is open to anyone
wishing to carry out assessments in most
learning environments, across a whole
range of occupational sectors, including
accredited and non-accredited learning.
A range of Level 3 Awards, which can be
undertaken separately or in
combinations, are explained to help decide
the most appropriate qualification for you.

Principles and Practices of
Assessment
The Level 3 Award in Understanding the
Principles and Practices of Assessment
(Unit 301 - 3 credits) is a knowledge-only
award for those who are starting their
journey as an assessor, or those who need
to know about assessment practice but are
not currently practicing. It consists of 1
unit assessed through an assignment and
some short answer questions.
