Our unique cultural understanding of the populations we serve sets us apart from the competition. Tribal Tech provides specialized training and technical assistance (TTA) in health and wellness issues, IT, grants administration and communications for American Indian/Alaska Native communities. Tribal Tech has vast experience increasing knowledge, building community capacity, enhancing systems, providing community readiness assessments, conducting Tribal consultations and managing comprehensive stakeholder engagement. We aim to provide assistance and help find solutions based on knowledge, practices and resources found in each community. We draw from our personal and community strengths, which we believe have an ameliorative effect on individuals.

Tribal Tech has solid credentials with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Tribal Tech has successfully partnered with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) on the Tribal TTA Center. The Center supporting Native communities’ self-determination through infrastructure development, program planning and implementation, and capacity building to enhance systems designed to prevent substance abuse, suicide and promote mental health. The Center provides TTA through three avenues – Broad, Focused and Intensive TTA, along with specialized support of the Circles of Care and Native Connections grant programs. Key personnel have worked closely with Tribal communities and organizations to design and implement TTA that is specific to the needs of each community. Tribal Tech administers the Native Connections Grantees initiative focused to help Tribal communities address suicide prevention and other behavioral health issues affecting Native American youth. This work provides TTA to grantees to promote mental, emotional and behavioral health. Tribal Tech has a TTA Center that supports tribes and native organizations on site and virtually on subjects such as mental health and suicide prevention.
