1. Under Graduate Department organized Virtual Alumni Meet

Under Graduate Department of Institute organized virtual alumni meet for BBA 2013 pass out

batch on 13thJune 2020.

This 'Virtual Meet' was planned to lighten the moods of all alumni in this stressful situation

and to have networking among people amid this lock-down. Welcome address was given by

Mr. Tushar R. Patel, HoD, Undergraduate Department in which he briefed the department

progress, highlighted the department activities and facilities available in the department.

Dr.Vaishali B. Patil, Director of IMRD addressed all the Alumni and gave insights about

various developments taken place in the College in the recent few years and asked alumni to

come forward with suggestions for our institutional growth.

Mrs. Archana M. Jade, Training and Placement Officer of IMRD presented Institute placement

report and briefed about the various Training and Placement activities planned to be provided

to students by Institute. Thereafter, Mr. Amul S. Tamboli introduced about the newly

registered IMRD Alumni Association and about the membership to the association. Alumni

attended the meet shared their experiences and promised their guidance in any form like

placements, Institute- Industry interaction, guest lectures etc. Finally, at the end of virtual

meet, the vote of thanks was given by Mr. Dinesh A. Borase, Assistant Professor, RCPET’s

IMRD.

2. Career Guidance Webinar for MCA 3rd Year

Training and Placement Cell organized Career Guidance Webinar for MCA 3rd year

students on 25th July 2020 using zoom application. For this session, we had invited Mr.

Sheetalkumar Dagade, CEO, Samyak Software, Mumbai. Total 65 students were

participated in this session. The main objective of this session was to aware students with

the career opportunities and placement preparation needs to be done by them as well as

how to motivate our self in this Covid-19 pandemic. This was very interactive session in

which many questions were asked by students to Mr. Sheetalkumar like:

➢ On which platforms students need to improve?

➢ What are expected qualities from students?

➢ Which technology is highly recommended?

➢ How to prepare for technical interview?

Mr. Sheetal kumar sir spoke with students on many other topics such as:

➢ How to motivate our self?

➢ How to handle stress?

➢ Expectation from graduates.

➢ Current IT trends and preparation.

This live session was very beneficial for all students. Students thanked to Training and

Placement Cell for organizing such wonderful session for them. All the MCA faculty

3. Career Guidance Webinar for IMCA 5thand IMCA 4thYear

Training and Placement Cell arranged Online Career Guidance Webinar for IMCA 5th and

IMCA 4th year students on 27th July 2020 using zoom application. We had invited Mr.

Sheetalkumar Dagade, CEO, Samyak Software, Mumbai for this session. Total 56 students

took part in this session. The main objective of this session was to alert students with the

career opportunities and placement planning needs to be done by them, how to stimulate

our self in this Covid-19 endemic. It was very interactive session in which several queries

were raised by students to Mr.Sheetalkumar :

➢ Which platform is best for fresher?

➢ What are expected qualities from fresher?

➢ What kind of database knowledge required for fresher?

➢ How to prepare for technical interview?

➢ How to encourage our self.

➢ How to handle stress?

This live session was very advantageous for all students. Students show gratitude to Training

and Placement Cell for organizing such magnificent session for them.

IMCA 5th, IMCA 4th year students appeared in webinar by Mr. Sheetalkumar Dagade

4. Career Guidance Webinar for MCA 2nd, MMS 2ndYear

Training and Placement Cell organized third Career Guidance Webinar for MCA 2nd,

MMS 2nd and MMS 2020 last year students on 29th July 2020 using online mode. This

session was conducted by Mr. Sheetalkumar Dagade, CEO, Samyak Software, Mumbai.

Total 75 students participated in this online session. The leading objective of this session

was to awaken students with the job opportunities and preparation essential to be done by

them as well as how to prompt our self in this Covid-19 pandemic. This webinar was very

interactive in which numerous problems were questioned by students to Mr. Sheetalkumar

like:

➢ Which subjects are important in IT industry?

➢ Whether students need to focus on soft skills or hard skills?

➢ Any resources for technical studies.

➢ Which certification is important? Etc.

This live webinar was very helpful for all students. They thanked to Training and Placement

5. Python Problem Solving Webinar

Training and Placement Cell of IMRD organized “Two Days Python Problem Solving

Webinar” in association with Mr. Suraj Pawar, Leadsoft IT Solutions, Osmanabad on 30th

and 31st July 2020 using Google Meet application for MCA/IMCA final year students.

Total 80 students were participated in this event. The session was planned to aware

students with the Python technical skills and how to solve different problem statements

using python programming. In this session, Mr. Suraj Pawar guided students on following

points:

➢ Introduction to programming concept with different case studies in Python

programming.

➢ Object oriented programming structure

➢ Class , Objects

➢ Data types

➢ Inheritances, Abstraction

➢ Stack , Queues

➢ Examples of technical python programming case studies and interview questions

on the same.

This was very fruitful session for MCA/IMCA students through which they came to know

the technology which is mostly used by IT industries and how they can upgrade their skills

for the same. Students thanked to Training and Placement Cell for organizing such a

wonderful session for them.

6. Skills Development Webinar

Training and Placement Cell organized Skills Development Webinar on 1st August 2020

for BCA, BBA, BMS final year 2021 batch students. For this webinar, the resource person

Ms. Keerthi Chalakaran from Mission Catalyst Bangalore was invited. Total 135 students

were participated in this event. Ms. Keerthi madam spoke with students on different topics

like:

➢ Employer Expectations

➢ Job searching strategies

➢ SWOT Analysis

➢ Interview Etiquettes

➢ How to develop interpersonal skills

➢ Self-Grooming

These all were wonderful tips given by Ms. Keerthi madam to the students. This webinar

was very interactive through which students interacted with resource person and cleared

7. Webinar on Competitive Examinations Guidance

Training and Placement Cell of Institute organized Webinar on Competitive Examinations

Guidance, "A Game Changer” in association with Mr. Amit Aswale, Campus Recruitment

Trainer/Reasoning/ Aptitude/Geography/Science/Polity (UPSC/MPSC/CRT/SSC), Nagpur

on 7th August 2020 for MCA 2nd, MCA 3rd, IMCA 4th and IMCA 5th year students.

Total 140 students were participated in this webinar.

In this webinar, sir shared the pattern of various competitive examinations like All India

Services, Central Services, IBPS examinations, CDS (IMA) and AFCAT (Air Force)

examinations. During this webinar, sir also guided students about how to do study of

aptitude and logical reasoning, different resources for study material, how to use different

tricks for solving any problem quickly and many more. In this session, sir had conducted a

basic aptitude test to check basic knowledge of students. It was an awesome webinar by

Mr. Amit Aswale which helped students to stay motivated and upgrade their aptitude

skills.

8. Webinar on Career Guidance on Technical Skills.

Training and Placement Cell of IMRD organized Technical Skills webinar on 8th August

2020 for MCA/IMCA final year students in association with Professor Rajendra Sonar,

Ph.D., Professor of IS/IT at SJMSOM, IIT Bombay, Co-Founder, WKA Technologies Pvt.

Ltd., SINE, IIT Bombay.

Total 80 students from MCA/IMCA participated in this webinar. The resource person

Dr.Rajendra Sonar is having 26+ years of mixed experience in software development,

training, teaching, and research and consulting.

In this session, sir covered many important topics such as:

➢ Basic database queries

➢ How to write basic functions in coding

➢ How to upgrade hands-on practices of coding

➢ Create our own apps

➢ Create our own Web Templates

➢ Learn to integrate open source like (JQ plot, Apache OBiz) etc.

Sir shared his live code in this webinar and asked many technical questions to the students

which helped them to know where they are currently lacking and how to overcome it.

Webinar on Career Guidance on Technical Skills.

9. Campus Placement Drive by WKA Technologies

Training and Placement Cell of IMRD organized campus placement in association with

WKA Technologies, Mumbai on 10th August 2020. To complete the process of

recruitment, few technical assignments were given by Dr.Rajendra Sonar, CEO of WKA

Technologies, Mumbai to all MCA and IMCA final year students. The result was declared

on 30th August 2020. Mr. Mukesh Badgujar, student of IMCA solved all the technical

assignments up to the mark and grabbed an opportunity to work with WKA Technologies,

as software developer. It was great opportunity provided by Dr.Rajendra Sonar to final

year candidates to work with them. The Director of IMRD Dr. Vaishali B. Patil, Head of

MCA/IMCA Department Mr. Manoj Behere, Training and Placement Officer Prof.

Archana Jade, MCA/IMCA faculties congratulated Mr. Mukesh for his great success.

10 .IT Development Technical Program by Intern meet

Training and Placement Cell organized IT Development Technical one week program

from 31st August to 7th September 2020 for MCA/IMCA and MMS final year students.

Total 101 students participated in this program. Mr. Shankar Khachare, CEO and Director

of Intermeet, Pune conducted online sessions through zoom application for students.

During this program many threads were covered by Mr. Shashank sir. He spoke with

students about different IT domains and how to prepare for the same. He guided students

on Website development, App development, Software development including Front-end

technology, Back-end technology, Technology selection, Job opportunities, required

technology, Skill set, Future scope, Career and Placements. He also spoke about

development types such as Static development and Dynamic development, Trending

technology like Full Stack development, MEAN Stack development, MERN stack

development etc. In this program, great knowledge was shared by Mr. Shashank with all

students which will be helpful to upgrade their skills and to select right career

opportunities. Participant students thanked to Training and Placement Cell for organizing

such wonderful program for them.

11. R. C. PatelIMRD Alumni Association organized Virtual meet

R. C. Patel IMRD Alumni Association organized Virtual meet on 5thSeptember 2020 on the

occasion of Teachers Day. Dr. Manoj B. Patel sir welcomed all the members and introduced

with the association work. The Director of IMRD Dr. Vaishali B. Patil also welcomed all

alumni and briefed students on many points regarding alumni association. Prof. Archana M.

Jade presented alumni association review work and activities through power point presentation

followed by discussion as per meeting agenda. Mr. Sandip Mistari, MCA Alumnus, Mr.

12. Campus Placement Drive by Sankey Solutions, Mumbai

Training and Placement Cell of IMRD organized virtual campus placement drive in

association with Sankey Solutions, Mumbai on 5th and 6th November 2020 for MCA and

IMCA 2021 batch. Total 70 students from MCA and IMCA participated in this drive.

Virtual Pre-placement talk was conducted by company. Mr. Akhilesh Mishra, Technical

Head, Sankey Solutions, Mumbai briefed students about job profile. Also Ms. Ankita and

Ms. Priyanka, HR Executives gave details about company profile. Training and Placement

officer Mrs. Archana M. Jade welcomed and thanked to Sankey Solutions, Mumbai for

this great opportunity.

First round was online technical test which was conducted by company. Total 5 students

cracked this first round. After that, technical interview round was scheduled on 6th

November 2020. Mr. Prathmesh Patil, IMCA final year student cracked all these rounds

and selected for the designation of “Solution Analyst” with package 3LPA. It was a great

opportunity provided by Sankey Solutions, Mumbai for final year students to work with

them.

13.Campus Placement Drive by Earn Wealth, Pune

Training and Placement Cell of IMRD organized campus placement drive in association

with Earn Wealth, Pune on 30th October and 9th November 2020 for MCA and IMCA

2021 batch. Total 40 students were participated in this drive. Among 40 students 20 best

resumes were shortlisted by Earn Wealth, Pune.Mr. Sayyad Mohsin, Technical Team

Lead, Earn Wealth, Pune gave online pre-placement talk in which brief introduction about

company was shared with students through Google Meet.

Mr. Sayyad Mohsin, Mr. Divyesh, Mr. Kiran Patil (MCA Alumnus, 2017) from

EarnWealth conducted technical interviews through Google meet. Total 10 students Ms.

Karishma Sarje, Ms. Komal Pawar, Ms. Madhuri Patil, Mr. Mohit Chaudhari, Mr. Vaibhav

Patil, Ms. Geetanjali Salunkhe, Mr. Nikhil Patil, Ms. Archana Patil, Ms. Pooja Patil, and

Ms. Manjusha Mali cracked this interview and selected as a software trainee in a company.

It was great opportunity given by Earn Wealth to the students. Students thanked to

14. TCS Campus Placement Drive 2021

NinjaNational Qualifier Test was organized by Tata Consultancy Services, Pune for MCA,

M.Sc. and B.E. 2021 batch students from 24thto 28thOctober 2020. In this online test

quantitative aptitude, verbal reasoning and advance programming rounds were conducted. Ms.

Karishma Dilip Sarje, student of MCA final year successfully qualified this test and became

eligible for interview process. It was online interview through Webex application in which

Technical and HR questions were asked to candidates.

Ms. Karishma got selected for the position of Assistant System Engineer-Trainee. It’s a proud

to share that Ms. Karishma is selected in such a great global IT company which is having

employee strength of more than 4,19,000 with offices in 46 countries, a footprint on 6

continents and a revenue of $17.58 Billon.

15. Campus Placement Drive by Samyak Software, Mumbai

Training and Placement Cell of IMRD invited Samyak Software, Mumbai to conduct virtual

campus placement drive in this pandemic situation on 5th December 2020 for MCA and IMCA

2020-2021 batch.

Mr. Shitalkumar V. Dagade Co-founder and COO, Samyak Software, Mumbai also conducted

webinar for MCA and IMCA final year students and guided them regarding the current IT

trends.

Total 25 students from IMRD were eligible and shortlisted for the technical interview round.

Out of 25 students, Mr. Vaibhav Sangale and Mr. K. K. Abhishek were selected for the

position of Technology Analyst with stipend of Rs.10,000/- pm for training period of 6

months.

It was great opportunity given by Samyak Software to the students. Students thanked to

16. Campus Placement Drive by Codingbit IT Solutions, Nashik

Training and Placement Cell of IMRD organized Campus Placement Drive by Codingbit IT

solutions, Nashik on 15thDecember 2020 for MCA and IMCA 2020-2021 batch. Total 14

students from IMRD were shortlisted for virtual technical interview. Ms. Gayatri Dorik, Ms.

Mohini Dharmadhikari and Ms. Nikita Patil cracked this interview and selected as a PHP

Developers.

17.Campus Placement Drive of Ideal Tech Info, Nashik

Training and Placement Cell of IMRD organized virtual campus placement drive in

association with Ideal Tech Info, Nashik for MCA and IMCA 2020-2021 batch on 2nd January

2021.

Total 10 students from MCA and IMCA were shortlisted for the drive and gave virtual

technical interview.

Among 10 students, 4 students cracked this interview and selected as Web Developer. The

names of selected students are Mr. Rahul Badgujar (IMCA), Ms. Bhagyashri Mali (MCA), Mr.

Vithoba Mali (IMCA) and Ms. Pallavi Rajput (IMCA).

The selected students thanked to Institute, The Director of IMRD Dr. Vaishali B. Patil,

Training and Placement Officer Mrs. Archana M. Jade for organizing a campus placement

drive for them.

17.12 Days Skill Development Program by Infosys, Bangalore

The Training and Placement Cell of Institute organized virtual 12 days Skill Development

Program for final year BCA, BBA and BBM students in collaboration with Infosys, Bangalore

from 1st February to 16th February 2021. The first session was inaugurated by Ms. Reena Ravi,

Ms. Shalini and Mr. Joseph Monis (CSR Team, Infosys, and Bangalore). In inauguration

session, the Director of Institute Dr. Vaishali B. Patil madam virtually welcomed the CSR

team and trainers from Infosys, Bangalore and expressed her gratitude for organizing this

virtual training program. IMRD has always the vision of upbringing its students to such a

higher level from where they should touch the success as fast as they can. Total 155 students

were participated for the assessment test through which Infosys team shortlisted 106 students

for skill development program. Ms. Apoorva Uke and Ms. Keerthi Chalakaran from Bangalore

were the resource persons for this program. In this training program the trainers trained all

students on different topics like Communication Skills, Business Writing, Essay writing, Email

writing, Grammar, Interview Skills, Resume Writing etc. This was a great initiative taken by

Infosys who is trying to make employable youth of India and increase the percentage of

placement ratio.

For successful conduction of this training program efforts were taken by Training and

Placement Officer Mrs. Archana M. Jade and Mr. Amul S. Tamboli, Mr. Dinesh A. Borse, Mr.

Sufiyan M. Bagwan.

18. Six Days Online Python Training Program by Global Talent Track, Pune

Training and Placement Cell of IMRD organized “Six Days Online Python Training

Program” in association with Global Talent Track (GTT), Pune. This training was

organized for MCA 2nd and IMCA 4th year students. Total 80 students participated in

training program. Training was from 9th March 2021 to 15th March 2021. Mr. Somiron

Mitra, Trainer, GTT, Pune was the resource person. This training program was conducted

in online mode through zoom meetings. The sessions were planned to aware students

about Python and to improve employability skills. In this program, Mr. Somiron guided to

students on various topics like Introduction to Python programming, Object oriented

programming structure, Class, Objects, Data types, Stack, Queues, Examples of Python

programming and interview questions on the same. Along with technical training, Mr.

Somiron guided to students on soft skills also. He told importance of communication

skills, presence of mind etc. This was very fruitful session for MCA/IMCA students

through which they came to know python which is mostly use in IT industries, how they

can upgrade their skills for the same. Students thanked to Training and Placement Cell for

organizing such a wonderful session for them. To make this training program successful

19. Webinar Series on Soft Skills

Training and Placement Cell of Institute organized webinar series on soft skills through

zoom application for MCA 2nd year, MCA 1st year, IMCA 3rd year and IMCA 4th year

students in association with Rubicon, Pune from 4th April to 8th April 2021. Total 110

students participated in this webinar series. Ms. Gautami Bhawsar, Soft-skill Trainer from

Rubicon, Pune explained various topics during this program. In various sessions, madam

spoke with students about grooming and interpersonal skills. Ms. Gautami guided to

students regarding resume making tips, personal interview, body language, resume, group

discussion etc. It was really great effort taken by Rubicon, Pune to interact with students

and upgrade their skills. Participants liked all webinars and they thanked to Training and

Placement Officer Mrs. Archana M. Jade, MCA and IMCA Department for organizing

such an advantageous webinars for them. Mrs. Archana M. Jade, Mr. Sumit K. Bide, Mr.

Vivek N. Chavan and Mr. Swapnil P. Deshmukh gave their support to make these

webinars effective.

20. Infosys Ltd., Pune Virtual Campus Placement Drive

Training and Placement Cell of IMRD organized virtual campus placement drive for BCA,

BSC and BCS final year 2020-21 batch students in association with Infosys Ltd., Pune.

More than 300 students of KBC North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon participated in this

event. First round was online test that was conducted by Infosys Ltd. Total 33 students

from different colleges were shortlisted for next round of interview. Total 6 students from

IMRD cleared online test and appeared for interview. Online interviews were conducted in

the month of March and April 2021. Total 3 students were shortlisted from 33 students.

Mr. Taha Bohari and Mr. Harshal Pardeshi from TYBCA class of IMRD finally got

selected for the position of Operations Executive with the package of 2.22 LPA.

Multiplier Brand Solutions, Nashik has organized Virtual off campus drive for all graduate

where students from BMS , BBA, BA, BCOM and BCA get participated. Multiple

students have participated in drive where students of RCPET’s IMRD from BMS Ms.

23. Infosys Pool Campus Placement Drive.

Training and Placement Cell of RCPET'S IMRD has organized Virtual Infosys Pool

Campus Drive on 15th June 2021 for BA, B.COM, BBA, BMS final year 2021 Batch.

More than 300 students participated in the pool campus drive.Mr. Ricky Nair HR Infosys,

Bangalore, virtually connected with all students. First round Online Aptitude test was

conducted by the company. Students shortlisted in Aptitude test were invited for virtual

interview. Till date total 7 students from RCPET’s IMRD cleared all this process and
