New Product Feature: SlideShare Course Component

LearnEMS and LearnFIRE provide tools to make online education easier. One such tool is the SlideShare course component which allows you to easily share PowerPoint slides with your personnel. This component is also accessible by mobile devices, allowing for more flexible training and sharing of information among training officers and their personnel. Watch this quick video to see how simple it is to include a SlideShare presentation with a course, and “Like” CentreLearn at Facebook while there to receive future helpful tips and tricks. 

If your training goal demands tracking of each slide in a deck, we recommend publishing your PowerPoint file as an Articulate Presenter movie, which is just one of the many content production services we offer to support your requirements. Epilepsy Foundation Free Online Training

The Epilepsy Foundation is offering an Epilepsy and Seizure Response course to train personnel who may be responsible for the health and safety of individuals with seizures. This hour-long course, available in two versions, describes a variety of seizures associated with epilepsy, seizures with other potential causes, appropriate EMS response on scene, and issues to be considered when determining whether or not further medical care is warranted. The CECBEMS-approved CE lesson awards 1.5 hours of continuing education credit upon successful completion. The non-credit version for EMS provides a certificate upon successful completion. Organizations can add this course for their personnel at no cost. Read the feedback shared by others who have completed this course.
