TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 3D

These establishing shot shows the setting of the film, it shows its in the middle of no where with no one to help them which suits the horror/slashed genre. The dark woods also make it seem scary as there going into the unknown and the audience instantly assumes something bad is going to happen. I will use a shot like this in my trailer to make it look scary and spooky for the audience, I might used an abandoned school as its close to home for the audience but also its abandoned which shows there's no one to help them.

TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE

These shots of the protagonist do not show his face this is effective as it’s a hidden identity. The mask also makes them look emotionless and inhuman like, this is effective as it scares the audience as they don’t know the killers face and he looks more scary because he's covering it. I will use shots like this hiding the protagonists face to make them look emotionless and even more scary whilst killing there victims.

TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE

Both these close up shots of the victims face make them look trapped and focuses the audience attention of their faces, the shot also contains a weapon which is also a everyday item used as a weapon. This is good shot for my trailer as it shows the emotion on their face which makes the audience feel scared as they are scared.
