WORSHIP ARTS PREVIEW OF MINISTRIES LAUNCHING IN 2020 — VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

CONTEMPORARY WORSHIP PLANNING COMMITTEEDirector of Worship Arts Tim Peck is putting together a Contemporary Worship Planning Committee, which would meet once every two months to discuss, plan, pray for and cohesively implement designs, themes, and improved segments of the contemporary service. This committee will be made up of worship team musicians and technicians, creative designer Kelley Warnock, and several committed contemporary service worshippers.

VIDEO STORYTELLING MINISTRYCapable filmmakers, writers, editors, and technicians provide content from within the congregation, to be shown during worship services and on social media platforms. Content includes testimonials, thematic previews, and dramatic pieces. Looking to begin producing content in early 2020!

WORSHIP ARTS COUNCILIn this newly commissioned council, ensemble representatives, staff leadership, and lay leaders from all ensembles within Adult Music Ministries (two from each) will convene once every two months to pray for worship teams, discuss, and plan thematic worship experiences throughout the year. The purpose of this group is to ensure cohesion between worship ministry areas, such that themes are translated appropriately and to their fullest potential within each ministry area.

For any of these areas, email Tim Peck if you are interested ([email protected]), and/or fill out your Commitment Card with your chosen ministry area selected during Stewardship. An application will then be sent to you. The application will also be available online soon.

DATE TO REMEMBERCharge Conference - October 13, 3:00pm at Cairo First United Methodist.
