The Offer
We would like to invite your company to participate in a trade mission to Seoul, South Korea. This Welsh Government supported mission offers an exciting opportunity for businesses of all sizes to connect with businesses in Seoul, South Korea’s capital city and economic hub.
This is an opportunity for your company to look at exporting to, or increasing its exports to South Korea and the wider East Asia region.
Why South Korea?
As the world’s 12th largest economy and the fourth largest in Asia, South Korea is a dynamic and vibrant place to do business. The South Korean economy will be the 10th largest contributor to world growth over the next 5 years, comparable to that of the UK, and greater than France or Italy. The South Korean population has a passion for UK goods which has contributed to the year on year growth in UK exports to the region since 2009.
This ongoing opportunity for UK companies has promoted UK Trade and Invest to designate South Korea as one of their high growth markets for UK companies. The export opportunity has been further bolstered by the 2011 EU-Korea Free Trade Agreement which is estimated to be worth over £500 million to UK business per annum.

The Welsh Government is subsidising companies to take part in this trade mission. The cost of participation is £850*. This includes:
