Introducing the theme

This work was prepared for us, because it is part of the theme of the

module 5 "Young people in the global age" of the discipline of English.

In this work we improve our speaking of English and learn about the

life of a geek.

We also want to convey to our fellow students what life is like a geek, as

well as habits and customs of the same.

We expect to meet our objectives.

What is a geek?

The definition of geek has changed considerably over time and there is no

longer a definitive meaning. The terms nerd, dweeb and dork have similar

meanings as geek, but many

choose to identify different connotations of these terms, although the

differences are controversial.

There are several types of geek, addicted to technology (geeks), addicted

to video games (gamers), addicted to the RPG (RPG player), addicted to the

manga (Otaku).
