Product description

Individual tactile surface guiding lines in shape of a strip /rib/ are made from high performance polyurethanes with

better resistance to acids, solvents, ozone and oxidation. They are also characterized by: good ability to slow the

spread of fire, good abrasion resistance, excellent resistance to weathering, ozone, sunlight and oxidation, excellent

resistance to alcohols, alkalis and acids, very good colour fastness.

Tactile warning studs are made in three versions:

- with pin, - without pin, - self-adhesive

The system has already proved good in banks, universities, stairways, entrance areas, etc.

Tactile surface guiding lines /tactile guiding strips/

with a design of longitudinal projections in shape of

ribs in a colour contrasting with the colour of thesurrounding surface and functional arrangement of

the longitudinal strips /ribs/ on the ground provide

directional guidance.

Tactile surface guiding lines allow you to build

guidance on the ground that is recognizable by feet

and white cane and can be also detected visually.

Tactile surface guiding lines help blind and visually

impaired people to find their way with help of a

longitudinal design. Tactile surface guiding linesenable blind and visually impaired people to quickly

and safely get from the starting point to their place of

destination.

COLOURS

LUMINANCE CONTRAST

In line with international and European standards the luminance contrast between the tactile surface guiding strips

and the surrounding substrate must be minimum 30%. TPU-LINE is available in a variety of colour inserts that allow

specifiers to choose the most appropriate contrast values for a given installation.

Individual tactile surface guiding strips are available in a number of standard and the most commonly usedcolours.

Customers can also request a custom colour (with respect to the minimum amount) in order to make the tactile

strips fit into any design, style and colour scheme.
