    Patient Satisfaction Scores

4.54, and our highest score of the year came in

its important that we focus on the patients and

we work hard to continue to raise that score.

The goal is to obtain and maintain a 4.6, but we

should never stop striving for a 5.0.

Our ValuesWe trust our colleagues as valuable members

of our healthcare team and pledge to treat one

another with loyalty, respect and dignity.

I spoke with a couple employees and asked

them all the same question to see how this

Value shows itself in our office.

Q: How do you uphold and see this value on aday-to-day basis?

A: Loyalty, Respect and Dignity are the

    cornerstones of any positive, thriving

company. I feel I uphold this value by coming

into work each day with a positive attitude

and seeing the best in my fellow co-workers.

    - Sarah

A: I feel I uphold this value very well on a day-

to-day basis. If you dont GIVE loyalty,

respect and dignity then why shall you

RECEIVE it from your peers, is the way I feel.

You should always treat others how youwould like to be treated in return and I feel I

do this daily to the best of my ability.

    - Jill

Our Goals for 2012To accompany the beginning of a new year

Town Plaza has a new practice manager. Shes

got a clean slate and a lot of big plans for the

    practice.

One big plan is to watch the budget and to

make sure that we stay strictly on track for the

next year. This will help benefit the practice as

a whole and each individual employee. A bigway to help keep the budget in line is the new

    over-time prevention and regulation thats

being put into play by Suzanne and the

supervisors. Remember, if you think youre

going to have over-time or are coming close to

it: notify your supervisor immediately. The

goal is to have all over-time eliminated by the

    beginning of 2012.

In 2011 we saw a little bit of complications with

    the phone system. Fortunately, those

problems have been taken care of. All of the

nurses now have their voicemails set up so

patients have somewhere direct go. Dr.

Luzania and Dr. Schnick now have a triage

    phone nurse to

    answer calls

    immediately

    instead of

    the patients

    going

    straight to

    voicemail. Tohelp eliminate

    patient wait

    time we went from

a basic call center to an

enhanced call center essentially giving us

more lanes of traffic. This allows more

people in the office to be on the phone at o

and allows more calls to come in without be

on hold. If any other problems are occurring

with your phones be sure to let Chequita kn

As mentioned before, our average patient

satisfaction was 4.54. Our goal score is 4.6,

thats not too bad! We should never stop trto get a 5.0 and aiming to provide our

customers with the best possible service.

Just as important as patient satisfaction is

    employee satisfaction. The SATISFY

Committee will resume their meetings in

January, and the results of the Employee

Engagement Survey will be back for them t

focus on. The Thanks program is now also

available for Practice Managers use in

recognizing their employees. This is a

    recognition program that helps celebrate

employees successes. Suzanne will be able

send thank you e cards, present pins, create

certificates of appreciation or even provide

gift card when the occasion calls for that ex

    special level of recognition.

More training opportunities will be availabl

employees so that they can better their ski

and increase their productivity. This could

come in the form of Health Stream classes,

classes at JCCC, or more in-services. If you

have any suggestions or training opportuni

youd like to participate in notify your

    supervisor.

    Your Goals for 2012

Everyone should have received an e-mail frErica at the end of December asking you w

goals you have for yourself, for the practice

a whole, and a wish list for Suzanne. If yo

didnt have a chance to respond or want to

    offer suggestions confidentially, make sure

enter your suggestions to the Suggestions

located in your suite by January 9th

    . Suzann

would like to see 100% of employees, and

physicians, participate in making a Wish L
