The open call log report was reviewed and letters were sent to the residents to inquire of the status of the calls listed as open on the prior call report. To date, the council has received positive feedback from the residents in regard to these letters. Weare continuing to address past and present concerns as they are received. Temporary Easements for the Dennison Creek snag and drag project were reviewed. We sent out letters to residents who we did not have a temporary easement signed. Several residents expressed a desire not to sign the temporary easement for various reasons. Once the new machine arrives, we are ready to proceed. There appears to be several areas throughout the town where Beavers have been building dams and obstructing the water flow. We will be contracting a trapper certified by D.E.C. to trap the beavers once we have obtained all the necessary temporary easements. Mr. Peets, Water Utilities Superintendent and Mr. Collins, Building Inspector/C.E.O. spoke with Mr. Pittinaro and Mr. Coene on June 18,2014 and received permission to walk the property to determine what is causing the drainage issue. On May 12, 2015 the Watershed Clerk began sorting through and organizing the files. Theopen call log report was reviewed and letters were sent to the residents to inquire of the statusof the calls listed as open on the prior call report. supposed to be taken care of by the highway department a couple of years ago and it neverhappened. The resident submitted pictures of the water issues.

Update: 6/18/14 Ed Collins stated he will have to go back to the parcel after the print islooked at. The council is reviewing the status of this call.

Erin Place- 6204 Knickerbocker Rd- the resident called and stated that she had a sinkholein her yard. Ed Collins, Building Inspector/C.E.O. and Rod Peets, Water UtilitiesSuperintendent, visited the site.

George O'neil Trust- 7134 Ontario Center Rd- this drainage problem is part of the BonnieWay Project from 2014. There is a creek/drainage ditch across from property. This job is onthe schedule to be done, awaiting arrival of equipment.

Stephen Fell- 7097 Ontario Center Rd- the resident claims the culvert in his front yard isfull of sediment and needs to be flushed. Mr. Fell stated that he was told by highway thatthey would come by and flush it in the spring and he still hasn't seen anybody. The culvertcrosses the road and is part of the Bonnie Way Project. This job is on the schedule to bedone, awaiting arrival of equipment.

Julie Lucas- 6712 Slocum Rd- the resident has pond of water in the backyard. She was toldit was civil suit by watershed last year, can we help her?

Update: The problem is being reviewed.

Mike Jeffers- 6204, 7354 Slocum Rd- the resident has drainage issues at both of hisproperties.

Update: 6/18/14- Ed Collins, Building Inspector/C.E.O. talked to Mr. Jeffers and told himthat his neighbor, Mr. Tiberio will not give the town permission to go on the property.

7/1/15- Mr. Jeffers came into office regarding his water problem. We spoke wlBrian Freywho informed us of the following:1) If we did work in past, we can still do w/permission from property owners.2) The homeowners should be responsible to keep the ditch cleaned out and,3) This may be a civil matter.

Mr. Frey stated that the resident can check to see if the proper permits were obtained for thepond from the Town, DEC & Arm Corp. but in reviewing his maps, he does not believe thepond to be the issue.

7/212015- the residents in the area were sent a letter requesting permission to enter theirproperties to determine what is causing the problem.

Jim Alhright- 7305 Slocum Rd- the resident called and stated his culvert is plugged underthe road.

Update: 07/0212015- the residents in the area were sent a letter requesting permission toenter their properties to determine what is causing the problem. -

Dane and Trisha Brown- 7364 Slocum Rd- the resident has water backing up into her yard.She believes it may be coming from the pond on Bill Dana's property at 7382 Slocum Rd.There is a ditch that goes from the pond through a vacant parcel on to her property.

Update: 07/0112015- The Watershed Clerk sent a letter to resident to inquire of the status ofthis call. There are several problems noted in this area that are currently being investigatedby the Highway department.

Dave Hartman- 7269 N. Slocum Rd- the culvert crossing road & the roadside drainageditch appear to be obstructed causing flooding in the resident's front yard.

Update: 07/0112015- The highway department has scheduled to clean the roadside ditch andinstall culvert pipe which may resolve the problem. Will revisit after job has beencompleted.

Frankie Spearman- 2021 Woodgate Drive- the property 2 houses to the west (2005Woodgate Drive) have a concrete gutter in the rear of their property that is filled with debrisand is backing the water up into the two yards at 2021 and 2013 Woodgate Drive.

Update: 07/0112015- The Watershed clerk sent letter to resident to inquire about the status ofthis call. We received a positive response from the resident via telephone and JerrySantangelo, Superintendent of Highways is looking into this concern.

Helene Upson- 2005 Woodgate Drive- the culvert in the backyard was cleaned out 5-6years ago. It has not been done recently and needs to be done again.

John and Rosanne Cudzillo- 1989 Woodgate Drive- they believe house was built in 1997and have been experiencing flooding and soft turf for the last 8 years.

Jim Mathews- 568 Ontario Drive- the resident claims to have drainage problems relative tothe Kennedy pond.

John Greenleaf- 693 Boston Rd.- the resident is having a drainage problem all around herproperty.

Tom Perry- 6544 Lakeside Rd.- the resident believes, beavers have built dams causingflooding issues.

07/06/2015, the resident called and was informed that a temporary easement must beobtained in order for the town to schedule to have the beavers trapped. The resident will stopinto the office to sign a temporary easement. Once the beavers have been removed, the towncan then go in and remove the dams.

Jeff Garland- 1878 Ridge Rd.- the resident wanted to know who is responsible for cleaningout the drainage ditch behind his house.

Update: 07/02/2015- The town cleaned this drainage ditch several years ago. We will add tothe schedule for cleaning. Due to the back log of jobs to be done this may be postponed untilnext year.

Jim- 1130 Route 104- the resident stated the east side swale from Ridge Rd to Rt. 104 isobstructed with debris and needs to be cleaned.

Update: 07/02/2015- NYS DOT not cleaning the roadside ditches and the water has no placeto drain. The council is investigating possible resolutions.

Mary Plummer- 1587 Ridge Rd.- the yards appear to be getting softer. She is concernedabout a possible sinkhole. The problem affects the properties 2 houses to east and 4 housesto west. Ms. Plummer stated that MRB put in pipes to do a study and the study was nevercompleted. The Town advised that the residents could put in French drains. The swale wascleaned with no relief. Mrs. Plummer claims the problem started when drainage work wasdone at Wayne Central Schools.

Update: 05/20/2015- The Watershed Clerk sent a letter to Ms. Plummer informing her thatthe Watershed was reviewing her concerns to see if anything could be done to assist her. Todate, we have not been able to find any reason for the water problems Ms. Plummer isexperiencing. It is possible there may be a spring under the area. This follows the generalarea where a spring erupted on Kenyon Rd for no known reason several years ago.

Scott Lash- 5860 Lanson Rd.-the resident has beaver dams obstructing the water flow.

Update: 07/02/2015- Mr. Lash has signed a temporary easement to enter onto his property totrap the Beavers and then to remove the dam. Weare awaiting the temporary easement fromMrs. Catalano to proceed with the trapping.

Lisa Hickey- 1076 Ridge Rd.- the culvert behind their property appears obstructed. Shetalked with someone last year and nothing was done. She still has the problem with standingwater.

Update: 07/02/2015- The council is reviewing the residents concern.

As of the date of this report, there are currently 21 open drainage calls and 28 calls have beenclosed.
