Located between Tower Street and the River Hull (East Bank). Tower Street forms the main access route to The Deep Submarium and Business Centre via Great Union Street and the A63/Garrison Road roundabout.

The building comprises a Grade II Listed former Buoy Shed which dates from 1901 with later 20th century alteration constructed of brick under a slate multi-pitched roof.

PLANNING

The site was previously part of the planned “The Boom” development, a mixed use scheme that extended the full length of the east bank of the River Hull between Great Union Street and the Myton Street Bridge flyover.

Currently the site is used for temporary car parking and storage. Under the Hull Local Plan 2016/2032: Publication Consultation Document the site is described as a site to be developed for a range of uses predominantly residential but also with the potential to include leisure, office or hotel use.

Development will be designed to ensure that it does not lead to any significant adverse impact on the adjoining business units and has full regard to the setting of the Old Town.
