TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS SATURDAY 16 th November 2019 Venue Centrepoint Sport & Leisure, Osman St Entry Form and Fees to: Matthew Crane Director, Blayney Table Tennis 429 Carcoar Rd TALLWOOD NSW 2798 1) The Director, Blayney Table Tennis shall have management of the tournament, which shall be played under the laws, and regulations of the ITTF and TTA. 2) The Tournament consists of 3 or 4 Round Robin singles rounds depending on the number of entries. All players play each round against a different combination of opponents (though some players may play some opponents more than once). For the first round each table will be assigned a group of players with the objective of each table containing a spread of player skill. From that round onward players will be assigned to tables depending on how they finished in the previous round. The organisers’ objective is for each table to contain similarly ranked players at the commencement of the last round. Players will receive a final ranking. Players may be separated into graded pools (e.g. A and B) depending on entry numbers. 3) White (3) three star V40mm+ balls are the approved ball for the tournament and shall be used for all games. 4) No claim will be recognised by the Director, Blayney Table Tennis, Matthew Crane or other organisers should any player receive an injury during the conduct of or participation in this tournament. 5) The Director, Blayney Table Tennis reserves the right to cancel or alter any event or any round of an event for any reason. 6) Any player failing to appear when called upon to play is liable to be disqualified. 7) Acts of bad sportsmanship will be dealt with under the rules of the game and may be referred to Table Tennis NSW Inc. Council for further action. 8) All matches shall be the best of five (5) or three (3) advantage games – first to 11 (no deuces). 9) E-mail entries containing a completed entry form (MS Word document or a scanned pdf file of a signed form) will be received subject to all details being provided as per page 1 of this entry form and all monies being received by the Director, Blayney Table Tennis by midnight 10 November 2019. A signature is not required if an email entry form is submitted as a MS Word document. 10) An entry form submitted on paper must be signed by the player as acceptance of the conditions. In the case of players under 18 years of age, the entry form must be signed by the player’s parent or guardian. 11) For each round, it is the responsibility of the first player listed on the round robin score card to ensure that the score card for the table he/she is playing on is correctly completed and returned to the control desk with the ball at the end of each round. 12) No refund of entry fees will be considered after the draw is made. 13) Persons attending the tournament are responsible for their personal effects. 14) All players are required to umpire and score one or two matches per round. Email entry will be accepted on condition that the email contains a completed tournament entry form and the email and all monies due are

received by the Director, Blayney Table Tennis by midnight 10 November 2019. Entries received after midnight on 10 November 2019 may not be

accepted (a $25 late fee will apply if accepted).NOTE: Your entry may not be accepted if you are not one of the first

64 players to enter.

E-mail entries sent to [email protected] will be acknowledged by return e-mail once payment is received. The

entrant is responsible for ensuring the entry has been received and has been accepted into the tournament.

16) It must be noted that Sports Injury Insurance does NOT cover any injury to, or death of the foetus of a pregnant woman whilst participating in sport. Pregnant women therefore participate at their own risk.

17) It is the responsibility of the entrant to declare any illness or disability, which may require medical attention: and ALL entrants compete at their own risk.

18) All players should report to the tournament control desk by 8.45 a.m. on the day of the event to register arrival and complete any incomplete entry forms and pay any outstanding fees.

19) No gluing of rackets is permitted inside the playing venue. Only ITTF approved glue may be used elsewhere.

20) Players must have current TTNSW registration. Eligibility extends to players who hold a “Social” ($12) registration. (Register with TTNSW at http://www.ttnsw.org.au/ or at the control desk before playing).

21) Time-outs (ITTF Regulations 3.4 & 4.2) are not permitted.

22) Appropriate table tennis attire must be worn. Non-marking shoes must be worn at all times in the playing hall.

23) Players give permission for the free use of their name, voice or picture in any broadcast, transmission, advertising promotion, or other account of events authorised by Matthew Crane, Director , Blayney Table Tennis.
