The Thalassotherapy stimulate the labor market.Tunisia is reserved for the second largest Thalassotherapy-destination worldwide. However, due to lack of capacities for well-trained personnel, the centres for thalassotherapy operate onlywith a capacity of 8 %. Out of 2.400 applicants 160 appropriatecandidates were chosen to educate and train them as hydra-therapists, management assistants, and maintenance staff.

Gaining and retaining qualified specialists for the tourism in TunisiaThe Fdration Tunisienne des Agence de Voyages develops aninnovative model of education and trainings in hotels with the ef-fect that trainees and apprentices are directly integrated in theworking environment.Through trainings the Fderation Tunisienne dHotellerie en-sures an improved service and, thus, strives for an increase of theretention rate of present employees.
