A very beautiful place situated in between Twang and Bomdila, Dibang Valley is located in the state of Arunachal Pradesh
and was created out of Lohit district in the year 1980. It is located on the banks of the River Dibang which flows through this
valley.

Bhismaknagar Fort in Arunachal
Bhismaknagar Fort is the major attraction of this place and is located at a distance of 30 Kms from
Roing. According to 8th century, it is one of the oldest Forts and is visited by many locals and tourists
round the year. There are several artifacts that were found during the excavation process
like terracotta plaques, terracotta figurines, potteries and decorative tiles.
Rukmini Nati Fort in Arunachal
Widely known as the Chimiri Fort, Rukmini Nati Fort is another historical attraction of the district. It is
situated in the heart of the Chimiri village. Rukmani Nati Fort was constructed during the 14th - 15th
century.
Kampona Pond in Arunachal
Kampona Pond which means ‘Good Looking’ is located at Idili village at a distance of
17 Kms. Kampona is believed to be the dwelling of Nag Raja as per Adi people belief.
Nijomaghat in Arunachal
Nijomaghat is located at a distance of 35 Kms from Dibang Valley. It was built in the 19 century by the
Britishers.
