Day 1: Arrive Srinagar

Welcome to your Majestic Kashmir tour! Arrive into Srinagar

airport. You will be met and transferred to your houseboat in Srinagar.

In the evening enjoy a Shikara ride on the famous Dal Lake.

Day 2: In Srinagar Day Excursion to Gulmarg (52 kms / approx. 2

hour drive)

This morning proceed to Gulmarg driving past the willow trees, fast

flowing streams and lush green meadows. Gulmarg - the meadow

offlowers offers a spectacular view of towering snow capped peaks

covered with dense forests of tall conifers and gigantic pine trees.

Stroll leisurely or take pony rides across the green meadows to one

of the worlds highest Golf Course. A must is a fun-filled ride with

compliments of Cox and Kings in the Gondola Lift upto Level 1.

Return to your houseboat in the evening.

Day 3: In Srinagar

This morning after transferring to your hotel proceed on a city tour

visiting the Shankracharya Temple situated atop a hill. Return to the

hotel for lunch. Later visit the famous Mughal Gardens - Chasmashahi,

Nishad and Shalimar (closed on Friday). These gardens were whereMughal emperors once relaxed with their exquisite queens and even

today are popular picnic spots. Buy some local hand crafted items from

the local handicraft shops. The rest of the evening is free.

Day 4: In Srinagar Day Excursion to Sonmarg (90 kms / approx. 3

hour drive)

Today embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque meadow of

gold - Sonmarg. The fast flowing Sindh River makes it popular for

trout and mahseer fishing in summer. You can opt for a pony ride to one

of the glaciers. Return to your hotel in the evening.

Overnight stay at the hotel (B, EL, D)

Day 5: On to Pahalgam (87 kms / approx. 3 hour drive)

Today depart for Pahalgam, the valley of shepherds which is situated

at the confluence of the streams flowing from the river Lidder and

Sheshnag Lake. En route visit the Awantipura Ruins, an 1100 year oldtemple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman. On

arrival into Pahalgam check into your hotel and enjoy the surrounding

beauty.


Day 6: On to Katra (300 kms / approx. 9 hour drive)

Early morning depart for Katra where on arrival you will check into

your hotel. The rest of the evening is free.

Day 7: In Katra Trek to Mata Vaishnodevi (14 kms one way)

As per your own preferred time, proceed to Banganga from where youwill trek up the Mata Vaishnodevi Temple. There are many who journey

here to pay obeisance regardless of their faith, class, caste or religion,

for Mata Vaishnodevi transcends all such barriers. Return to your hotel

after Darshan.

in several movies. This excursion is subject to road, weather conditions

Leh is one of the favourite tourist destinations located in the

northernmost parts of the country. Lapped in the snow-covered fringes

of the Himalayas, Leh has been the center of Tibeto-Buddhist culture

since ages. Its colorful gompas have attracted devout Buddhists from

all over the globe. Besides, it is also a favorite hiking locale and is

known for some of the best hikes in India.

Day 1: Arrive Leh

Welcome to your Leh The Land of the Blue Lake tour! Arrive

into Leh airport. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. The

afternoon is free for acclimatisation. In the evening, visit the Shanti

Stupa and Sankar Monastery.

Day 2: In Leh

Today, proceed on a full day excursion visiting Shey Palace, the 15th

century summer palace and the monastery of Lehs Royal family.

Then proceed to the 800 year old gompa at Thiksey built on a hilltop,

modeled on the famous Potala Palace in Lhasa. Later visit Hemis

Monastery, hidden in a gorge, the largest and wealthiest gompa in

Ladakh. The rest of the evening is free.


Day 3: On to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (120 kms / approx. 5

hour drive)This morning, drive to Nubra Valley, popularly known as Ldorma

or the valley offlowers via Khardungla Pass - the worlds highest

motorable road (18380 feet). The rest of the evening is free.

Overnight stay at the campsite (B, PL, D)

Day 4: On to Leh (120 kms / approx. 5 hour drive)

This morning, drive to Leh, once again via Khardungla Pass, the worlds

highest motorable road. The evening is at leisure to discover Leh bazaar

for souvenirs or you can take a walk and explore Leh Jokhang / Leh

mosque.

Day 3: In Shilon Bagh Excursion to Kufri (23 kms / approx. 1

hour drive)

This morning proceed for a wonderful excursion to Kufri, famous for

its trekking and hiking trails. In Kufri, enjoy a walk through thick cedar

woods to Mahasu Peak for an amazing view of the mighty Himalayas.

You could take an enjoyable pony or yak ride around the park. Return to

your hotel for lunch. In the evening visit the Mall Road, Scandal Point

and Christ Church.


Day 4: On to Manali (280 kms / approx. 8 hour drive)

This morning you will proceed on a breathtaking drive to Manali,

nestled on the banks of the River Beas amidst Kullu Valley. Lunch will

be served enroute in a local restaurant / dhaba at Sundernagar / Mandi

followed by a visit to the Kullu Shawl Factory or Vishnu Mata Temple.On arrival into Manali, check into your hotel. The rest of the evening

Day 5: In Manali

Proceed on a half day tour of Manali, situated in the Valley of Gods;

a combination of natural splendour and rich cultural heritage. Visit

the Tibetan Monastery which houses several images of Lord Buddha,

Tankha paintings and the Hadimba Devi Temple dedicated to Goddess

Hadimba, the wife of Bhim of Mahabharat. It has a four - tiered Pagoda

shaped roof and the doorway is carved with legendary figures and

symbols. Later drive to Vashist, a small village located on the left bankof river Beas renowned for its hot springs and temples. Nearby is the

pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashist Muni. After lunch, the rest

of the day is free for you to simply relax or explore the city of Manali

on your own.


Day 6: In Manali Day Excursion to Snow Point / Rohtang Pass (51

kms / approx. 3 hour drive)

This morning proceed on an excursion to Snow Point on the Rohtang

Pass road. The pass is open between June and October each year and

is the gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley. You could enjoy

pony and horse rides. Return to the hotel in time for late lunch. The

evening is free for leisure activities.


Day 7: On to Chandigarh (320 kms / approx. 9 hour drive)

Small but beautiful, Sikkim is situated in the Eastern Himalayas.

Spread below the Mount Khanchendzonga, at 28225 feet the third

Day 1: Arrive New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra On to Kalimpong (85 kms

Char Dham is referred to the four Hindu religious sites in Uttarakhand

state of India. These are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath.Traditionally, the Chardham yatra is undertaken from the west to the

east. Thus, the yatra starts from Yamunotri, then proceeds to Gangotri

and then to Kedarnath and finally Badrinath.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi On to Haridwar (210 kms / approx. 6 hour

This morning proceed to Yamunotri, en route visiting Hanuman Chatti

by a trek to Yamunotri. (7 kms / approx. 3 hour trek) Packed lunch will

be served en route. Later, visit the Saptarishikund Mukhba. Return to

your camp in Barkot.

Day 4: On to Harsil (152 kms / approx. 6 hour drive)

This morning drive to Harsil. (base camp) Lunch will be served en

route in a local restaurant or dhaba after which you will proceed to

Kashi Vishwanath Temple for darshan. On arrival into Harsil, you will

Day 5: In Harsil Excursion to Gangotri (30 kms / approx. 1 hour

drive) On to Maneri

Today, you will drive to Gangotri to visit the temple of Gangotri which

was constructed in the 18th century and is situated on the right bank of

River Bhagirathi. On arrival, take a holy dip in the sacred river and then

perform pooja. Around 100 yards from the Ganga temple, flows the

Kedar Ganga and this point is known as Kedar Ganga Sangam. Return

for lunch in Harsil and later proceed to Maneri.

Day 6: On to Guptkashi (240 kms / approx. 8 hour drive)

This morning drive to Guptkashi. En route you will see the holyconfluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers, a unique beauty of its

own and it seems as if two sisters were embracing each other. Lunch

is en route in a local restaurant or dhaba. On arrival, check into the

camp.


Day 7: On to Gaurikund (32 kms / approx. 2 hour drive) On to

Kedarnath (14 kms trek / approx. 4 hour walk)

Early in the morning proceed to Gaurikund, which lies at a distance of

5 kms from Sonprayag and at an altitude of 6503 feet. Packed lunch

will be served en route. Take a holy dip in Taptakund. Later, visit

Gauri Temple, the place where Goddess Parvathi meditated to attain

Lord Shiva. It is the base for a trek to Kedarnath. Proceed on a trek to

Kedarnath (11759 feet) on foot or on pony / doli. On arrival, check into

your hotel.


Day 8: On to Guptkashi (14 kms trek / approx. 4 hours walk and 30 kms

/ approx. 2 hour drive)

This morning visit the temple. Trek down to Gaurikund. Return to the

into Kochi airport or Ernakulam railway station. You will be met

Chinese fishing nets in Fort Cochin area.


Day 2: On to Munnar (145 kms / approx. 5 hour drive)

countryside. En route, visit Kaladi, the birth place of Shri

Shankaracharya. On arrival into Munnar, check into your hotel. The

Day 3: In MunnarToday, after breakfast, proceed on a tour of Munnar where you will

Today, drive to Thekkady (Periyar), the land of the spice plantations.
